The developers of Coral island recently released their new devlog, and it reveals some pretty sweet features.
For those that may have missed it, Coral Island is a super cute farming and life sim game that focus on our connection to the planet around us, and the preservation of it. This wonderful title has everything we have come to expect from the farming and life sim genre, like horticulture, ranching, dating and community interaction, but with a deeply meaningful and impactful story to guide the way.
In the recent devlog, the developers outline what they have been focusing on most recently. First is the level of character customization. The devs want to ensure that the game has a level inclusion, so that all may feel welcome to help better the world, which is why they will be offering a wide array of options in terms of customization options.
One of the most exciting additions of late is the visual upgrade to the buildings. The devs shared a sneak peak at what the new Carpenters shop looks like, and it certainly looks much more rich and inviting. The team also shared what the concept art looked like that inspired this transition.

Hokko Life is an Animal Crossing inspired game featuring farming and unseen customization options.
For the ones who are not so familiar with Hokko Life yet – this indie title is an Animal Crossing inspired game that brings tons of new stuff to the table. The village simulator features a wide variety of unique characters, in-depth farming and so far unseen customization tools where you can create your very own village and even your own furniture designs from the ground up – Lego Style!
Robert, founder and main developer behind the game recently teamed up with Team 17 to bring his full vision for the game to life and today he revealed some more news about Hokko Life.
To make the game feel more alive and interactions with villagers even cuter, new talking animations have been added to the game and they really make for an adorable scene, take a look below at the short snippet.
Hokko Life Looks so Cozy
Hokko Life caught my attention from the day Robert had revealed this adorable title. Village simulation games are kind of my passion and this one is right up my alley.
The lighting in this game creates such wonderful atmosphere as seen in the latest trailer. Another new screenshot from the game showcasing what appears to be a Cafe in the town shows exactly how adorable the game looks with the upgraded visuals.
Hokko Life is Animal Crossing Inspired but goes far beyond
While Hokko Life shares similarities with Animal Crossing, just like Stardew Valley to Harvest Moon, Robert has made sure the game goes beyond just being an Animal Crossing like game.
There are many features that make this indie title stand out, you can design your very own furniture – lego style and then share them with the community, this level of customization will make every town and home feel more unique. If you haven’t seen the customization tool in action I recommend you take a peak right here.
Hokko Life Release Date
Robert and Team 17 recently revealed that Hokko Life will be coming to Steam Early Access this summer along with a new gameplay trailer!

Kloa is “a colorful action adventure game inspired by Studio Ghibli and The Legend of Zelda.”
There is just something so soothing and cute about a game with a perfect pixel art. You get all the adorable graphics, without losing any of the immersion. Kloa has wonderful art in spades, and looks to be quite an exciting adventure game as well. From what I can see so far, this is one indie that we will be wanting to keep an eye on.
So far, not much has been shared about what the game is about, as the game is still early in the development stages. The developer has been sharing quite a few photos on Twitter, and the game looks absolutely wonderful.
The developer also mentioned on Twitter, “we’ll add a big variety of elements to create a living environment with an immersive atmosphere!” With a heavy focus on charming art, and what appears to be some pretty fluid gameplay, this in one game that I absolutely can’t wait to learn more about.

The developers of Coromon have finally given their game an official release date!
Attention all Poke’ fans! There is an all new creature collection game in the old-school pixel style that is surely worth a look. It is called Coromon, and has been in development for quite some time now. However, the developers have just announced that the game should be ready for release by the end of this year, 2021, and will be available on PC and Mac via Steam, and will be coming to mobile shortly after.
What is Coromon?
Coromon is an all new creature collection game inspired by the first games of the Pokemon series. This game brings us an all new adventure, with many cool and crazy creatures to discover. In Coromon, it is up to you to stop a new secret organization that is bent on releasing a horrible darkness into the world.
You must collect monsters and train with them so that you may be powerful enough to overcome this evil corporation. Do you have what it takes to train a team powerful enough to be the next CoroChampion? It’s a totally fresh take on the immensely nostalgic genre.

Amber Isle is an adorable Animal Crossing inspired game where you can run your own shop.
There can never be quite enough Animal Crossing inspired games, especially when they bring some new fun things to the beloved village simulation genre. Amber Isle is set in a cozy town populate by cute little Dino villagers.
Amber Isle is all about delivering that wholesome and adorable feel of fuzziness you get when strolling through your village in games like Animal Crossing.
Once you arrive in Amber Isle you will be meeting a bunch of quirky and unique Dino characters that full heartedly welcome you to your new village and help you get set up.
Amber Isle Shopkeeping
Amber Isle is still in early development so not many details have been revealed just yet but the game will let you open and run your very own tiny shop of course with the help of your new friends. Collect resources, craft items and mark them for sale for all other Dino villagers to enjoy.
Dinos have unique personalities
The developers already mentioned that the Dinos populating your village will have more depth to their characters than what is typically found in games like Animal Crossing, making interactions more unique and more meaningful.
For the example the developers said that every Dino has their own “personalities, hobbies, occupations and they’ll talk about those” making talking to villagers feel more rewarding and interactive.
Amber Isle Release Date and Platforms
There are no details yet when the game will release and what platforms we may see it on – however, you can join the developers on Twitter to follow the games progress closely. Of course I will be keeping an eye on it myself as well.

Super Zoo Story is an upcoming indie game where you can build your very own Zoo.
Stardew Valley has long been a fans favorite farming game. Even though the game is out for more than three years, players from around the world are still enjoying the adorable farming game.
Super Zoo Story aims to capture the spirit of Stardew Valley with its charming pixel visuals and life simulation / RPG elements sprinkled in.
In Super Zoo Story you will jump into the role of a Zoo keeper. You start out in an open world that is yours to explore. Your job is simple, build a thriving, beautiful Zoo and make sure animals are happy.
Build a home for new animals and add some trees, ponds and other natural elements they need to stay happy. Of course you will also have to get down to cleaning the areas and always make sure your Zoo looks neat and tidy.
There is life outside the Zoo
The game goes beyond just being a simple Zoo management game such as the popular Planet Zoo. Super Zoo Story invites you to explore the other side as well. The life simulation and RPG elements in this game haven’t been discuessed much by the developers but according to the images released, there is plenty to do outside of Zoo Keeping.
As you create and build your very own Zoo from the ground up you will also be exploring a beautiful and adorable wide open world filled with treasures and cute animals that you may recruit for your Zoo.
As you build designated areas for your animals it is your job to ensure every animal has the things it needs to be happy and thrive. So there will be plenty of decorating and customizing to ensure your inhabitants happiness.
Crafting, Mining, Exploration
An observatory and even a blacksmith will be in the game indicating a rich crafting system. Perhaps making tools for exploration and mining purposes is one way to use the Blacksmith for. The open world will possibly function as a means to gather resources needed for the crafting and building system.
Super Zoo Story Release Date

Stardew Valley recently received its very first Collectors Edition and for Halloween it will include even more cute new items.
If you haven’t heard about this adorable must have Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition, it includes a whooping eight items. The highlight of the edition is definitely the wooden standee that just looks so adorable. It’s tiny, cute and everything I need to decorate my space with just a little bit more of Stardew Valley.
In addition to the standee fans can also look forward to a pin, Junimo Comic, cleaning cloth, of course a physical copy of the game and more! If you act fast you will also get a limited time bonus poster! Take a look below for everything included in the edition.
Halloween Addition
To celebrate the spooky season fangamer has released two additional items to go with the adorable collectors Edition. The Country Side Shirt and Krobus Plush are the perfect addition to the already cute bundle.

Nintendo recently revealed information about the long-awaited Animal Crossing: New Horizons Halloween event. The video released by Nintendo shows that the game’s Halloween update will contain a whole bunch of spook-tacular features.
Some examples of Halloween features include brand new fences, DIY Halloween furniture, new skin tones, the ability to plant pumpkins, and some new reactions! I don’t know about you, but this unveiling has got me super hyped for Halloween in the game! I’ve been frantically spook-ifying my island in preparation for the event.
Whilst doing this, I decided to also change my island flag and tune for Halloween. Whilst searching for some, I came across the following Halloween Animal Crossing: New Horizons flags and tunes which I wanted to share with fellow fans!
