In previous games, players were limited when decorating their Able Sisters’ exteriors. Pixelated paths were basically the only way of landscaping in Animal Crossing: Wild World. I remember trying to spruce up my Animal Crossing: Wild World shops by using mismatched flowers from Tom Nook. I also remember crudely insulting the tanuki tycoon on the bulletin board, but that’s for another time (and probably another place). But even using flowers to decorate was difficult due to the darn pavement beneath the shops.
Even in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the shopping area was unchangeable. Additionally, players couldn’t curve paths, terraform, or place furniture outside. Therefore the addition of these features to Animal Crossing: new Horizons is what makes the game so attractive.
Players just have so much more freedom and ways to be creative when it comes to exterior design. However, the sudden abundance of tools given to us can be a little daunting. Somehow staring at plain grass doesn’t seem to help inspiration to hit any faster.
Not used to decorating the exteriors of shops in the games, I had no clue where to start. The outside areas of Able Sisters and Nook’s Cranny on my island remained pitifully drab until REALLY recently. Are you in the same boat? Get inspired by these Able Sisters exteriors from Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Why not use one of these amazing path designs around your Able Sisters shop?

Search online for Animal Crossing: New Horizons beach ideas and you’ll find an almost infinite amount of beautiful beach inspiration. Additionally, the internet also has lots of examples of gorgeous gardens, wonderful waterfalls and cool campsites from the game. As inspiration is everywhere, you may have finished decorating your island. On the other hand, you might still have some areas that are a bit bare.
I have plenty of these spaces. In my case, the flat rocks by the beaches are the most frustrating areas. Small and weirdly-shaped, these rocks have angered me from day one. To make matters worse, there are few articles dedicated solely to Animal Crossing: New Horizons rock areas.
As a result, I decided to gather in this article my favorite ways in which people have been filling these spaces. Onsens, smoothie cafes, and places to wash socks, there’s inspiration for everyone on how to jazz up those rocks. From the cutest of painting spots right next to the sea, to relaxing spaces where your player can drink tea.
The creative ways that players are using these areas are seriously clever. Make sure to carry on reading to see some rad Animal Crossing: New Horizons rock areas.

Thanks. Kids crying now.
The Animal Crossing series is one of the most wholesome around. Non-violent and family-friendly, Animal Crossing games are open-ended and allow players to do as they wish. Tasks that players can partake in include catching creatures, befriending talking animals, interior design, gardening, and more recently, terraforming. The most recent addition to the franchise is Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which boosted morale during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, and subsequently became very popular.
For these reasons, you might assume that all online content relating to the game is wholesome too. You would assume wrong. The Animal Crossing fanbase isn’t as innocent as you’d think, and are living proof that absolutely anything can be ruined. Whether it be the showing off of their dirty minds to the sharing of hilarious in-game finds, these fiends are the sole reason Brewster refuses to return.
Whilst nowhere online is safe, online social platforms are saturated with sacrilege. For those of you who want to ruin your day, be sure to check out these utterly cursed Animal Crossing: New Horizons moments.
On a lighter note, check out these Wholesome examples in which Animal Crossing: New Horizons is more inclusive than previous games in the franchise.
Are you an abomination with an insatiable appetite for completely cursed Animal Crossing content? Or perhaps try as you may you’re unable to tear yourself away from unpleasant posts that could ruin your day? Perhaps you want to witness more wicked ways in which the Animal Crossing series was unexpectedly unwholesome? If you answered yes to one (or more!) of these questions, be sure to check out these 10 times where Animal Crossing got dark. Uh oh!

One of the most alluring features of Animal crossing: New Horizons is the amount of freedom you are are given. Players are able to customize furniture as they please with the game’s new DIY feature, and are trusted by Tom Nook to terraform however they like.
From waterscaping wonderful waterfalls to creating gorgeous gardens, the possibilities are endless! However, it’s no secret that being in charge of beautifying a whole island can be quite daunting. Even after you’ve tackled terraforming and added awesome areas to your island, you may feel that it looks a bit bare. If this is the case, not to worry!

However, the amount of choice can sometimes be overwhelming. Maybe you don’t know how to go about placing wall-mounted items? Does your bathroom feel a little empty? Or perhaps you feel your basement looks like it could well be the missing dump from Animal Crossing for GameCube? If you found yourself saying yes, you’re in the right place! (Even if you’re happy with your home, keep reading to see some seriously cool spaces!).
Players have already demonstrated their talent when it comes to terraforming and exterior design. It’s therefore no suprise that people are also creating some super stunning rooms.
