Adventure, Gather, and Create With Friends in a Vibrant High Fantasy World
Palia is a free-to-play open-world MMO game that is still in the early stages of play testing. The game boasts sprawling and beautiful landscapes, as well as numerous avtivities. Players can look forward to an ever-changing adventure with quests and fun NPCs to encounter. However, the fun doesn’t stop there.
Palia will also include all of the fun hallmarks that makes Animal Crossing so entertaining, and more. Players will be able to choose from activities such as fishing, cooking, hunting, foraging, gardening, bug catching, and mining. Building and decorating a home will also be available. So, gather some friends and adventure together, or relax and build your homestead alone in the beautiful world of Palia.
The developers, Singularity 6, recently included a blog post about the update and the opening of the Alpha 2 testing phase, which shed only a little light on new features. What the update did reveal was new color palettes and new customization features for home decorating.

July 28th, 2022 saw the beginning of the Alpha 2 testing phase of play testing. Palia developers announced via their official Twitter and Facebook pages that they invited a new batch of players who signed up as playtesters, and Alpha 1 players are also able to return for Alpha 2. The developers are not only looking to remedy bugs and receive feedback on features, but they’re hoping to create a friendly and welcoming early game experience so players will be ready for what may come in the adventures later in the game.
Palia still does not have an official release date at this time. However, while expected to release first on PC, there is the possibility of console releases at a later date. And while you may have missed your invitation for the Alpha 2 testing phase, sign-ups for future testing phases are still open at http://palia.com.

Sun Haven is a magical life and farming simulation game you can play with your friends.
In case you have not heard about Sun Haven yet, this adorable farming and life sim game with some pretty sweet RPG elements, Sun Haven is all about becoming part of the world you live in.
You find yourself in a beautiful little town that captures the spirit of old school fantasy RPGs such as Final Fantasy, or even Pokemon back on the gameboy. But in addition to be able to call this magical town your home, you also tend to your farm and grow your favorite crops.
If you have played any Fantasy Life games, you may be familiar with this concept. Be whoever you want to be, do what you want, when you want and how you want it. In Sun Haven you can do exactly this, wear any hat you want and become a fisher, a farmer, a miner, a warrior or a mage, the choice is always yours and that’s what makes this game so unique.
Just like many other life simulation games there is the option to date your favorite villager and eventually even get married, there are plenty of romance candidates you may choose from.

Sun Haven is already available on Steam if you want to jump right in, if you prefer to play on console, the developers recently confirmed the Nintendo Switch version!

Hokko Life has big plans with major content updates coming our way.
For the ones who are not familiar with Hokko Life, it is an Animal Crossing inspired village simulator and offers unseen customization tools where you can design your own furniture from the ground up. In addition you can now grow your own garden, plant and harvest your favorite crops, fishing, bug hunting and so much more.
Sole developer Robert has created a magnificent game and recently partnered up with Team 17 to bring even more features to the Early Access version of Hokko Life.
Hokko Life Roadmap
Today the developer announced a roadmap for the game laying out some of the features that will be added to the game via free content updates.
Each one of the announced additions sound like a lot of fun. Farming and Storage expansions are already live with a super shopping center, that sounds similar to Stardew Valleys JoJomart, maybe a little less evil? and Major Merits which remind me of ordinances in New Leaf. Not many details have been revealed for the new features – but we can expect more information as we get closer to the drop date of each new addition.
Later on Hokko Life will receive new clothing items, possible bug festivals and Deserted Island Distractions which hopefully will let us go on a mystery tour like adventure!
There is a lot to come as Hokko Life is just getting started with an Early Access version of the game currently available on Steam.
A Nintendo Switch version may still to come – I have reached out to Team 17 for more clarification on the possibility of a console release for Hokko Life.

The developers have announced that Sun Haven will indeed be coming to Switch.
For those that may have missed this adorable farming and life sim game with some pretty sweet RPG elements, Sun Haven is all about becoming part of the world you live in. You find yourself in a beautiful little town that captures the spirit of old school fantasy RPGs such as Final Fantasy, or even Pokemon back on the gameboy. But in addition to be able to call this magical town your home, you also tend to your farm and grow your favorite crops.
After the recent release, Sun Haven already has many positive reviews on Steam, and players are absolutely loving this charming new indie. For those that were part of the Kickstarter, it has been made clear that the developers absolutely intend to bring their game to Switch. Which makes total sense, seeing as how it is super cute and all.
So far, the awesome reviews have just been pouring in, and many of them mention the word “addicting”. One reviewer said, “…it’s like a more in depth Harvest Moon/Stardew Valley. ” Many players are saying that while it has lots of similarities to Stardew Valley, it still stands out as its own magical adventure.

Epic Chef aims to capture the spirit of adventure, life-sim and cooking games all packed in one delicious game.
Team 17 announced Epic Chef an upcoming game that not only features the relaxing gameplay of cooking and life simulation games but sprinkles in a little bit of adventure and even crafting. It combined some of my favorite genres into one single game.
Games that combine different elements have always held a special heart in myself. If you have played Fantasy Life where you can take on many different jobs and play the game in multiple ways, you may have felt what Epic Chef is trying to achieve.
Home sweet home
In this unique game you will follow a story that unfolds as you embark on your journey to become the very best chef of Ambrosia, the town you will find yourself in. As you spend your days adventuring, finding new recipes and ingredients for your dishes, there is no better feeling than having a warm cozy place to come home to. That’s right in Epic Chef you will be able to have your very own home and customize it Animal Crossing style.
Of course trying to become the best Chef Ambrosia has ever seen, is not as easy as pie. You may spend your days out adventuring or even just taking care of your farm can be quite straining. What better way to relax than go on a day spa trip or do some fishing with the friendly locals. The way you approach Epic Chef is entirely up to you and the game makes sure there is always something to do for you.
Even though adventuring, fishing, farming and building up your home can take a lot of time, you may not forget that the focus is on creating delicious meals to achieve your ultimate goal of becoming the best Chef you could possibly be. Epic Chef offers deep cooking mechanics that you may know from games like Cooking Mama on Nintendo Switch.
Epic Chef Release Date
Epic Chef is now confirmed for Nintendo Switch and will also be heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. A release date has not been given yet but the game is expected to release sometime this year.

Sun Haven is the next sim farming game that not only does farming right but includes the magic of RPG adventures.
Sun Haven is all about becoming part of the world you live in. You find yourself in a beautiful little town that captures the spirit of old school fantasy RPGs such as Final Fantasy, or even Pokemon back on the gameboy. But in addition to be able to call this magical town your home, you also tend to your farm and grow your favorite crops.
The cozy town is filled with unique human villagers as well as friendly monster like creatures that all have their own personality. Much like many other farming sim games it will be up to you who you want to befriend and who you’d rather not share a moment with.
Be whoever you want to be
If you have played any Fantasy Life games, you may be familiar with this concept. Be whoever you want to be, do what you want, when you want and how you want it. In Sun Haven you can do exactly this, wear any hat you want and become a fisher, a farmer, a miner, a warrior or a mage, the choice is always yours and that’s what makes this game so unique.
Every job and activity has a purpose, if you farm in the morning you can use the crops to cook meals once you have harvested your farm.
Never be alone
The game is designed to be played with up to eight friends. You can team up with your loved ones or random people over the internet and enjoy the beautiful world together. There is no reason to play alone if you don’t want to. After all, everything is better enjoyed together!
Farming is the core of a game, with a twist
The core of the game will be the farming aspects with over 50 crops available right at launch Sun Haven is sure to deliver an endless amount of fun. While you find everything you come to expect from a traditional farming sim, the developers also packed the game with a few unique twists.
In addition to using fertilizers you can learn spells to make your garden work a little easier and more efficient. Magical crops can also help you attract different wildlife, such as deers and squirrels.
Cooking, magic… and so much more
There is no doubt that Sun Haven comes packed with activities. There is no real limit on how far you want to take the experience. Start cooking dishes with the crops you grow and harvest, do some fishing and mining to stock up on resources. Befriend and date fellow villagers and of course – all of this at your own relaxing pace.
Sun Haven release Date and Platforms
Sun Haven is slated for a release in May 2021 on PC and MAC. The developers are also planning to release the game on Nintendo Switch. The game has been fully funded on Kickstarter and is now on track from its 2021 release!

The Life of Mr. Pips is a super cute indie game about the life of an adventurous strawberry, and it releases tomorrow!
Ever wonder what life might be like if you were a sentient strawberry? I know I have. And I must say that I am quite releaved that I will truly be able to live out that fantasy now in The Life of Mr. Pips, an absolutely adorable game about a strawberry named Mr. Pips on a journey to find his family.
What is The Life Mr. Pips
Enter a world where all things talking are fruits. Your primary goal is to find all your family members scattered throughout this mysterious land. You can enlist the help of a. jolly blueberry who will guide you on your adventure, and might even take you floating down a raging river or two.
As previously stated, this is one super cute game that is sure to suck you in with its charm alone. The game was developed by the husband and wife team at Snuti, and will be releasing on itch.io tomorrow, September 30th, 2020.

Little Witch in the Woods is one of the most adorable upcoming indie games, here is everything we know about the game!
What is Little Witch in the Woods all about?
Little Witch in the Woods is a fantasy role playing game where you get to live the life of a witch. The ability to use magic always adds such a special component to any game, especially adorable sim-life games like this one. You play as Ellie, a little witch that has just come to a new town, and you are set to be a part of a “witch’s house”. Only, when you arrive, it appears that the town is near empty, and the witch’s house is in disrepair.
Master the Witchcraft!
Your ultimate goal is to mastery witchery, by learning potions as an apprentice at the witches house. You must explore the region to acquire all that you need to create whatever potion is required. There are many different things throughout the world that you can collect for potion making, including taking the fur off some adorable little bouncing creatures.
The land before you is a magical and mystical place, full of unique experiences to be had. The inhabitants of the town are varied creatures, all with their own stories to tell, and little additions for your adventure.
