Peaceful Days is an upcoming life and farming RPG simulation game much like the beloved Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons games. Sole developer Nhat Nguyen has updated all of us with some fun new additions to the title.

In Peaceful Days you will meet new characters as you stroll through this beautifully crafted town, make new friends or catch up with lifelong buddies – the choice is always yours. For more information on the game, head over here.

    New Milk Delivery Job

As Nhat announced in one of his latest tweets a milk delivery mini part time job has been added to the game. Players will have to pickup milk and deliver the bottles to NPC houses around the town, a great way to get to know your villagers even more.

These mini jobs remind me a lot of the ones found in Fantasy Life where you can join different professions such as Culinary career, carpenter and more. Taking on jobs around town is not just fun but is also a great way to rake in some coins to enhance your farm.

    Town Map Is Here!

Peaceful Days has also received a much requested and also very convinient world map where you can take a look at the towns layout, so you don’t get lost when exploring your surroundings! So colorful!

Peaceful Days is currently in development if you want to stay up to date on the progress you can follow Nhat on Twitter. I will also keep a close eye on the games progress so make sure to check back here!

Re:Legend by Magnus Games is a farming simulation RPG I’ve been waiting to play for quite some time! Thanks to the publishers at 505 Games, we now have a Steam code to try it out and tell you all about it! Re:Legend is still in Early Access and continues to receive patches and updates often and therefore, I decided to do this feature in sections over time. Below you will see a video of my first in-game day along with the befriending with my first Magnus!

Washed ashore on Vokka Island without memories…

Creating my character was a lot of fun because of the unique hairdo choices, the adorable aesthetics, and the vibrant colors. I was so excited to start farming and raising some Magnus that I haven’t put much thought into the story of Re:Legend. The first second of playing, your character gets tossed off a cliff. You’ve got my attention! Then, my first couple nights of sleeping in my bed, I’m being haunted by a ghost trying to tell me something. I’m assuming it has something to do with whatever we’ve forgotten and need to remember, how intriguing!

    Befriending my First Magnus, Draconewt!

I’m eagerly awaiting the next update which will include the use of controllers for the game because that is my preference whenever action or battling is involved. The only other difficulties I had was taming the Draconewt as it wasn’t clear that “remaining in the middle” meant going the opposite direction of the arrow shown. Moreover, once you’ve given the required food to a Magnus to raise their affection toward you, you have to mount them and calm them. Personally, I find that to be a bit of a chore if I’m going to try and “catch em’ all”. However, your cave/barn area does seem rather large with dividing rooms so I can’t wait to see a bunch of Magnus roaming around!

    What Lies Ahead

When exploring my farm, there is a decent plot size for gardening, a pond area to keep some fish, a crafting area for better gear, and a hot spring to replenish some stamina! The map of Vokka Island alone will take a lot more exploring, so all of Ethia will keep me busy questing for quite a long time. I’ll definitely have to be better prepared to go out there again because dying means returning to the town’s hospital (and to the next day), and your Magnus returning to your farm. So far though, I’m in love with every villager I’ve met and can’t wait to get to know them better, especially Emilia. I’ll also do anything for those little penguin villagers.

In the style of the old-school mainline Pokemon games, go on a grand adventure in Coromon!

    Coromon

The best thing about creature collection games is that there could never really be enough of them. The imagination is the only limit when it comes to creating unique and exciting monsters to catch and care for. Coromon brings us an all new adventure, with many cool and crazy creatures to discover.

In Coromon, it is up to you to stop a new secret organization that is bent on releasing a horrible darkness into the world. You must collect monsters and train with them so that you may be powerful enough to overcome this evil corporation. Do you have what it takes to train a team powerful enough to be the next CoroChampion?

Like Pokemon, the game is played in a top down view with graphics similar to the gameboy. So you really get that nostalgic feel of classic monster battling. Not to mention that the combat is also turn-based, a standard go-to for the genre.

    Coromon

The game will also feature the use of gauntlets, which will allow the player to progress through specific puzzles. The gauntlets will imbue you with special abilities that will get you through zones that you couldn’t have otherwise. Much like the function of Hidden Machines.

    Coromon

With over 120 monsters to discover, and plenty of unique regions with realistic weather effects, I can already tell that Coromon is a game with keeping my eye on! Coromon will be released on Steam (Windows, MacOS & Linux), iOS, tvOS and Android.

For more information on this game, you can visit the official website. If you would also like to keep you eye on this game, be sure to follow them on Twitter. For more games like this, check out our coverage of the upcoming epic titles, Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield.

Pokemon Go has been one, if not the most popular AR ( Augmented Reality) game of all time. Today Minecraft Earth was announced that aims to follow the success of the former AR mobile game. Minecraft Earth turns your surroundings into a huge playground, letting you interact and build with friends in the real world.

Minecraft Earth breaches the line between reality and video games and creates a perfect match between those two. Players will be able see reality turned into video game through the lens of a mobile phone. Much like Pokemon Go the game encourages the player to go out and explore, but instead of hunting Pokemon you will be looking for blocks ( materials ) that you will need to create constructions anywhere you like. You can also find and take on different challenges scattered throughout your neighborhood.

The blocks you find and collect can be used to build and unleash your creativity. Much like the traditional Minecraft game, you will also be able to collaborate with your friends to play and build together. The game even allows for capturing animals and breeding them as the official website states “Minecraft Earth features many of the mobs you know and love, along with a bunch of new ones. Over time, you’ll get the chance to breed unique variants, and use them to populate your builds.”

I am so excited to get building, as Minecraft Earth was already available on iOS and Android this summer as part of a closed beta program and finally starts rolling out to select countries this month of October. Make sure you check out the fun Minecraft Earth trailer below.

Concrete Genie is a new action adventure game exclusively for the PlayStation 4. The game is being developed by PixelOpus and produced by Sony Interactive Entertainment. I simply can’t wait to play this beautiful game starting October 8th.

    About Concrete Genie:

The game follows Ash, a bullied teenager. Ash lives in the former fishing town of Denska. Denska is all but abandoned thanks to an oil spill. Now, the town’s water is inky and poisoned and the town is covered in a force called Darkness.

Ash is creative and spends his days working on his sketchbook. After bullies snatch the book and rip out the pages, Ash embarks on a journey to save them. Along the way, he discovers his creativity might just be what saves Denska.

You will follow and control Ash with a 3rd person perspective. You’ll use his magical Living Paint to paint creatures, called Genies, on the town walls. By creating colorful street art, Denska will slowly be restored. You will also find the lost pages of Ash’s sketchbook. Each page will expand the design toolset.

According to developers, each creature you paint will have its own personality and abilities. This is thanks to each one having its own A.I.

The game will launch with both a VR Experience Mode and a VR Free Paint Mode. In VR Experience Mode, you will follow a Genie and help it discover a new, mysterious power. This mode will then unlock VR Free Paint Mode. In VR Free Paint Mode, you’ll move your paintbrush by using PlayStation Move Motion Controllers. How awesome is that!

    Watch the trailer here:

You can learn more about the game on PlayStation’s website.  Want more beautiful games? Check out Ailuri or Mr. Tic Toc & the Endless City. Interested in PlayStation games? We recommend checking out the gorgeous Eastshade.

To The Rescue – Dog Shelter Simulator is a one of a kind game. Who doesn’t love our furry friends? In this game you can run your own puppy shelter and surround yourself with pure cuteness.

The game was recently successfully funded on Kickstarter with more than 1200 bakers. To The Rescue is an indie title in which the player jumps into the role of a dog shelter owner. You will have to take responsibility for dozens of cute dogs and hopefully find them a new forever home. Of course the job comes with a lot of work, you will have to make sure the dogs are happy, fed well, healthy and happy in order to maximize their chances to find a new family to join.

The game is all about the pups and just like real life these cute animals can get infectious diseases that need to be treated. Some of the dogs might even have bad traits and you will have to work around their bad behavior. Like most dog shelters it will rely on donations to keep the doors open and be able to properly treat and care for the animals.

To The Rescue – Dog Shelter Simulator is coming to steam soon, you can already wishlist the game. I am truly excited about this indie title, passionate developers, a cute plot and adorable gameplay make for an exciting title. I will be sure to cover the game going forward! For more adorable animals, farming and relaxing gameplay, check out Alchemy Story.

    Update

Tanner and Olivia, developers behind the game have shared some information with us on possible releases on other platforms. As they continue the amazing work on the game, they are currently focusing on the PC, Mac and Linux release.

    To The Rescue Features

    • Support real-world charity. 20% of the profit from all sales of To The Rescue! goes towards real dog shelters. Details TBD.
    • Every dog is unique. Each dog is generated with its own traits and preferences to make them unique and memorable.
    • Match dogs with adopters’ needs. Adopters will often come into the shelter looking for specific things. Match their preferences to increase the chances of adoption.
    • Upgrade your shelter. If you end up with some spare funds, you can upgrade the shelter to have deluxe kennels, get help with cleaning or upkeep, and more!
    • Keep the shelter open. Sometimes it can be tough to afford to take care of all the dogs in the shelter. You’ll need to be thrifty and sometimes make tough decisions so that you can keep helping dogs find homes.
