There is now an official Switch release date for the animal care sim Pups & Purrs Animal Hospital.
Pups & Purrs Animal Hospital is a pretty simple, yet adorable, pet care simulation. You will be charged with taking good care of a a few super cute doggies and kitties at your animal hospital. This includes feeding, cleaning, brushing, medical attention and of course, lots of love.
Asks Games announced back in March that the game would be releasing this Summer, and here we are. After a few delays, the game will not be releasing this summer, but instead on November 11th, 2021.
In the announcement, the publishers also released a charming trailer for the game, which you view below. The game will be releasing both digitally and physically. From what I could find, there is currently no price point, but I will keep an eye out for more info leading up to the games official release.

Pioneers of Olive Town got another DLC added to the expansion pass today.
Since release, fans of the series have been loving Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town. From fishing and farming, to chatting and relationships, this is one title with everything we have come to love from the farming and life sim genre. Of course, what else is to be expected from one of the greatest farming sim franchises ever.
For those that may not have been paying attention, since release the game has also gotten quite a bit of DLC, adding all sorts of things ranging from new NPC’s to character outfits and in-game items. With this new DLC comes even more great costumes for you and the ten marriageable characters in the game.
The DLC will also include the “Legendary Sprite Dance” quest line. It is up to you to help the lesser sprites complete their sprite dance, without the knowledge of the Boss Sprite. An absolutely adorable endeavor that I can’t wait to try.

Here are some of the best games currently on sale for Nintendo Switch.
If you are like me, you are always on the lookout for great deals on games. It never hurts to save a few dollars while expanding on your gaming library. Luckily, Nintendo is pretty good at making sure there are always at least a few choice games available at discounted prices. Currently, there are a few wonderful gems that you can get your hands on without paying full price, and all are available through Nintendo’s website.
Harvest Moon One World
For those that may have not been paying super close attention, Harvest Moon: One World follows the success of Harvest Moon Light of Hope. In One World the player will be able to discover friendly, already known and new faces in the local town. However, this time around you can travel outside of your village and discover new places and people from all around the world. Harvest Moon One World is currently available for $39.99. More info.
Overcooked 2
For those not familiar with the franchise, Overcooked is a fast paced cooking party game that can get pretty darn hectic. The goal of the game is to make and serve as many good dishes as you can within the time limit, while avoiding increasingly ridiculous obstacles. The game is hailed as a wonderful family game, and a great time to be had by all ages. Overcooked 2 is currently available for $12.49. More info.
Crash Bandicoot Series
All of the games from the crash series that have either been made for or ported to Switch are currently on sale as well. There are two different bundles available, but both include all the games. The only difference that I can see in the bundles is that one comes with CTR, and the other does not. The Quadrilogy Bundle (4 games total) is now $41.99, and the Crashiversary Bundle (5 games total) is $59.99. More info.
Castaway Paradise
Castaway Paradise is inspired by Animal Crossing but released its island adventure many years before New Horizons was even announced. In Castaway Paradise you begin the journey on your very own tropical island. This is your land, your adventure! Do whatever you like, whenever you like! Which happens to entail many of the great features that we have come to expect from in-depth life sims like this one. Castaway Paradise is currently available for $11.99. More info.
Balan Wonderworld
Follow the journeys of two young adventurers as they try to solve the puzzles and uncover the mysteries of many different worlds in Balan Wonderworld. From the creators of Sonic the Hedgehog comes an all new 3D action platformer that is just so cute and colorful, it surely has a place in any gamers library. Overcooked All You Can Eat
That’s right! An all new Overcooked! experience is ready to play on the recently released next-gen consoles. All You Can Eat is a combination of the first two Overcooked games, but with all DLC included, a 4K visual upgrade, and all sorts of other new goodies (levels, chefs, recipes) to make this the best Overcooked experience yet. Miitopia can be much more of an enthralling experience than most people realize.
For those that my still be on the fence about whether or not to get Miitopia, the new trailer from Nintendo may just help you make up your mind. The new promotional video displays the games more Sim-like aspects, and how every player can add as much, or as little, depth to the gameplay as they would like.
For those that my have missed it, Miitopia is a wonderful adventure game that was made to be shared with friends and family. You create your character with the vast array of customization options, then choose the role you would have them play, and now you are ready to take on the evil Dark Lord with the assist of your loved ones.
The new trailer for Miitopia gives much more detail about the “roles” aspect of the game. The video shows the differences in the roles, and how they come into play throughout the game.
As with most games that enable character roles, it is important to choose the role that is most suited to your normal play style wench approaching RPG’s. Doing this will ensure that all players are having fun in the game, and are able to best help the team with their own personal attributes.

Now is your chance to get he ultimate edition of this adorable and amazing farming and life sim game.
Since being released on Switch and PS4 two years, lovers of the series have been thoroughly enjoying the Complete Special Edition of Harvest Moon Light of Hope. Just last year the developers also brought the game to XBOX and PC, so players also around the world have had their chance to get their hands on this gem. The new DLC for Story of Seasons Pioneers of Olive Town brings back some familiar faces.
Pioneers of Olive Town for the ones who don’t know is the latest installment in the long running Story of Seasons franchise. The first full new title in the series released with a bunch of new features never seen in Story of Seasons before.
Huge farms, a big open world to explore and now plenty of add ons thanks to the expansion pass.
The Expansion pass for Story of Seasons Pioneers of Olive Town includes a whooping 5 DLCs which two of them have been released already and three more will be made available throughout this summer.
The latest pack in threes is DLC Pack Number 3, which unlocks Neil & Raeger as marriageable candidates. To give a closer look at what’s coming, the developers have also released a new trailer for this DLC pack.

Update: Garden Paws will be hopefully still be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
One of my favorite adorable life SIM games, Garden Paws, has been growing and changing all the time. I have even had the chance to get my hands on it personally, and I absolutely love it. I have noticed, however, that when I share what I know about this wonderful title, I always get the same question; when is Garden Paws coming to the Nintendo Switch?
The most recent information given in regards to the Switch port was via a Tweet response, in which the developers mentions that they are still plugging away at the port. I reached out to the developers of the game and they mentioned that they are certainly still working on the Switch port, but that there is still no eta.

The super charming hamster care game Djungarian Story now has a wonderfully enchanting trailer.
Pet care simulation games are the epitome of cute and relaxing. You get all the good and none of the bad that comes with owning your own pet, or even a slew of Wonderfull creatures. Well, Success Corp. recently announced that they will be bringing an all new pet care experience to the Nintendo Switch, and it’s all about Hamsters.
In Djungarian Story, you get to own and even breed your own adorable little hamsters. You can also visit the local shop to purchase different unique and cute items with which you may decorate your tiny rodents cage. You will be able to pet, play with, clean and care for your new little friend, all while meeting new friends along the way.
Now, the developers have released the first trailer for their game, and it is the epitome of cute. The trailer gives a close look at how the game will play out, and just how much content there really is to explore. Unfortunately, the trailer is currently only in Japanese, so here’s hoping for a translation soon.
