    Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town was first released in 2003 and quickly became one of the best selling gameboy games of its time. Now the the popular farming game will get a remake on Nintendo Switch and be published under the Story of Seasons Reunion of Mineral Town name, with many familiar and beloved characters making a return.

    If you have played the original game back in the days, you may have come to enjoy the company of some, or even many of the characters in the game. Mary, Gary, Elli, Doctor and even Kai are now confirmed to be making an appearance in the remake.

    With the surprise annoucnment, Marvelous was also kind enough to share some more screenshots with us. Check out how our beloved friends will look like in the new and remastered version of the game.

    Marvelous will be releasing Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town in Japan on October 17th. There is no release date for the west yet, however XSeed Games, who will be handling publication in the west has confirmed that the game will indeed be coming to North America and Europe at a later point.

    Story of Seasons Reunion of Mineral Town is a remake of the much beloved and highly praised Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town. The game will be coming to Switch later this year and we have the first gameplay footage!

    Some exciting new gameplay footage for the much anticipated game have been shared today! The short clips show the game in action for the first time in beautiful HD visuals and it looks as adorable as ever.

    The short videos showcase various seasons such as Spring, Summer and Autumn and even other actives such as fishing and caring for animals! We have combined the clips from the posts on Twitter in one nifty video for you below!

    Marvelous, who will be handling the publication of the game in Europe, revealed the remake will be heading to Nintendo Switch in Asia on October 17th, a western release for the game has also been confirmed and is expected to happen sometime after the official launch in the east.

    Growtopia is an adorable Minecraft and Starbound inspired game in which you can team with your friends, explore different worlds and build whatever you like. Now the game is finally heading to Nintendo Switch!

    Growtopia is a sandbox game at heart, where players can unleash their creativity in ways rarely seen before. The game lets players team up with friends, explore worlds, collect resources and create “mind-bending” worlds. With more than 15.000 players playing at any given time of the day, it will be fun to see so many creations by other players all around the world.

    Furthermore the game will also let you collect seeds, grow trees and of course harvest your crops! Farming is an essential part of the game and necessary if you want your world to flourish! As you keep playing the game, the world of Growtopia evolves around you and you will meet all the quirky little creatures inhabiting the environment.

    The game is currently available on iOS, Android, Windows and Mac. According to Ubsioft Growtopia will be available on the Nintendo eShop starting July 18th as a free to play title. While it does offer in-game purchases, there is only one single currency that can be earned playing the game as well.

    The Harvest Moon Light of Hope Special Edition Complete is heading to Nintendo Switch and comes feature packed!

    The Special Edition of the beloved farming franchise will come with features specifically tailored for consoles. The new character Soleil is a welcome new addition for anyone who enjoys playing with friends in the Co-Op mode. Soleil will be able to help take care of your farm and is controlled by another player.

    Furthermore the Harvest Moon Light of Hope Special Edition Complete also packs all four DLC that have been released for the game so far. These include Decorations & Tool Upgrade Pack, Divine Marriageable Characters Pack, New Marriageable Characters Pack, and Doc and Melanie’s Special Episodes.

    The edition will be released on July 30th for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. You can make it your own for only $29.99.

    Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition Complete has special features made specifically for consoles and introduces Soleil, a new character who uses their Gem Sprite magic to help around the farm with new Co-Op Play. Grab a friend, and they’ll be able to control Soleil. Soleil will be able to grow crops, tend livestock, and gather materials. Farm work has never been so easy!

    Doraemon Story of Seasons is not so far away anymore with a western release this fall. For anyone who is not familiar with either of the franchises, Doraemon Story of Seasons is a crossover game that combines the most exciting features from Story of Seasons and Doraemon. The game was released in June in Japan, Bandai Namco has shared a cute new English trailer with its fans today!

    The game published by Bandai Namco will finally be coming to the west later this year. Today the company surprised its fans with yet another adorable trailer highlighting the various villagers you will get to meet in Doraemon Story of Seasons. Its a great year for farming-sim fans!

    In Doraemon Story of Seasons you will be playing as a young boy named Nobita (who also features in Doraemon’s orginal manga and anime), the Story of Seasons aspect of the game sees players growing crops, raising animals, and improving their farm, which is located in a town called Shizen Town. The game also features the Harvest Goddess and other regular characters from the Story of Seasons Franchise, as well as Doraemon and his friends.

    Indie farming games like Stardew Valley, Littlewood and others have captured the hearts of players in no time. These charming and wholesome games are developed by often just one single person who pour their heart and soul into the project, Peaceful Days, though early in development, we already love this carefully crafted world – and we can’t wait to jump in!

    Peaceful days is an upcoming indie farming RPG game that aims to please fans of the cutsie, yet so engaging simulation game genre. In Peaceful Days you will meet new characters as you stroll through this beautifully crafted town, make new friends or catch up with lifelong buddies – the choice is always yours.

    Nhat Nguyen, the sole developer of the game, has recently posted a lot of updates on her twitter, as she makes more progress on the interior of certain places you can visit in the game. Shops and homes have all recently gotten some love. Take a look at these adorable environments yourself.

    Peaceful Days

    Peaceful Days is currently in development with no official release date yet. Very few details have been revealed as of yet, but we are eager to learn more about this adorable indie title!

    It was only a day ago that we got the surprise announcement for the Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town remake coming to Nintendo Switch this year. Today XSEED Games announced that the game will come to the west as well and if that wasn’t enough – a first Story of Seasons Reunion in Mineral Town Trailer has been released.

    Marvelous, who will be handling the publication of the game in Europe, revealed the remake would be heading to Nintendo Switch in Asia on October 17th. Many fans were speculating if and when the game could possibly come to the west as well. While it is possible to download any game from any region to any Switch, due to it being region unlocked, it is still great to know that Story of Seasons Reunion in Mineral Town will indeed be translated into English – once again.

    XSEED Games also revealed that a release date for the English version will be confirmed soon. Furthermore, as we already assumed yesterday the game will be published under the name Story of Seasons Reunion in Mineral Town.

    Story of Seasons Reunion in Mineral Town “is a complete remake” of the beloved Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town Game Boy Advance title. In this peaceful setting, players will grow crops, take care of animals, and build relationships with villagers.”

    The crossover game Doraemon Story of Seasons takes the best out of two franchises with a heavy focus on farming and relationships with the town folks. As we reported a few weeks ago, a demo for the game has finally been released, it is now available in the Japanese eShop and accessible from any Nintendo Switch. Along with the demo we also received a new and most adorable trailer. Check it out!

    In Doraemon Story of Seasons players will be playing as a young boy named Nobita (who also features in Doraemon’s original manga and anime), the Story of Seasons aspect of the game sees players growing crops, raising animals, and improving their farm, which is located in a town called Shizen Town. The game also features the Harvest Goddess and other regular characters from the Story of Seasons Franchise, as well as Doraemon and his friends.

    Nintendos latest hybrid console does not have region lock, which means you can create a Japanese Nintendo Online account and then download the game to your system. Many of the games on the Japanese eShop also have the option to be played in English, howevr Doraemon Story of Seasons is not one of them.

    The game is set to release in west later this year in fall 2019. If you can’t wait that long you can grab the demo from the Japanese eShop in the meantime.
