An official trailer has been released for the new Stanger Sins DLC for Graveyard Keeper.

Graveyard Keeper has often been compared to Stardew Valley with a creepy twist. Instead of growing pretty flowers and yummy veggies, you find yourself working on a graveyard tending to dead bodies. Just in time for Halloween the game gets a DLC called Stranger Sins.

    About Graveyard Keeper

Graveyard Keeper takes the player back to medieval time, where you will have to take on all the responsibilities of a cemetery manager. The simulation game allows you gather resources to create your very own environment by building and managing your own graveyard, finding ways to cut costs and make sure that all the dead find rest and peace.

Of course the game delivers this dark-ish gameplay with a pinch of humor. For example you can also turn to more fun activities like witch-burning festivals, or simply strolling through your yard and scaring nearby villagers into attending church – the choices are yours!

Graveyard Keeper Stranger Sins DLC Features

    • 4-8 hours of extra gameplay.
    • Build and run your own tavern. Finally you will have your own bar!
    • Arrange the Rat race and Stand-up events.
    • Get to know villagers better by completing dozens of new quests.
    • Help Gerry to do the total recall.
    • Witness the events of 200 years ago that will reveal the history of the game world and your role in it.

We have reached out to the developers of Little Witch in the Woods, and here is what they would share!

We just can’t get enough of Little Witch in the Woods, the most adorable sim-life RPG currently in the works by Sunny Side Up Games. Given the lovely response from the community, we decided to reach out to the developers to see how much they would be willing to share about their ultra-magical and super cute game. They agreed to share their most valuable time with us, to let us get a closer look.

We would like to mention that Little Witch in the Woods is still currently in development, and any details about the game are subject to change. We would also like to mention that, seeing as how the Sunny Side Up studio is located in South Korea, there was a bit of a language barrier between interviewer and interviewee.

Who is the team at Sunny Side Up games, and what are your favorite games?

‘Sunny Side Up’ is a game development team. We are developing game in South Korea and consist of 4 members. Since we’re a small team, each person has been doing many things. There are a lot of difficulties, but we feel happiness because we are making the game to have been dreamed. We hope game players love our game too.

    Favorite Game: Hyper Light Drifter

What sort of games inspired the creation of Little Witch in the Woods?

The first time we had idea “What happens if we add witch’s story to ‘Stardew valley’?” Furthermore, we wanted to give players a chance to experience the daily life of a witch. Since we thought we needed more other things to do that, we played a lot of games. Among so many games, Animal crossing inspired and helpful for making idea.

What platforms do you intend the game to be on?

We plan to release ‘Little Witch in the Woods’ on Steam. We are trying to release Nintendo Switch and PS4 if it can.

Do you have any idea as to a release date?

It is currently developing the game with a goal of releasing it in fall of 2020. For those of you waiting, it is also considering releasing the demo version earlier (it’s not yet confirmed).

What are your favorite unique additions to the game so far?

It may sound funny, but you know the parts where each user feels unique will be different.

We don’t focus on function. Sunny Side up is developing the game with a focus on the emotions and experiences that players can feel.

If someone can feel the emotion that we’re trying to convey in any part of the video game, that very part will be a unique part to the player.

Do you plan for there to be any sort of online functionality Little Witch in the Woods?

Currently, only a single play version is planned.
If the game goes well and many game users want it, we’d like to add online functionality later.

Is there anything special that you would like to say to the followers of your game.

Thank you for your interest. I’m so touched by your warm support. I’ll repay you with AMAZING game. I really really hope ‘Little Witch in the Woods’ will give you happiness and moving when you guys play it. We will continue to communicate about the develop process and the special issues that we’re going to have to deal with through Twitter. I am not good at English, so it’s hard to answer your reply and comments but I’m understand most of your reply meaning and your thoughtful heart. Please understand that I often have used the wrong grammar. Thank you so much again.

Big Thanks to Sunny Side Up

We at myPotatoGames would like to extend a huge thank you to Sunny Side Up games for taking the time share more about their game with us. And also for making such an amazingly adorable game like Little Witch in the Woods. We wish them all the best with the rest of development, and cannot wait to get to try the game for ourselves.

As mentioned above, the best way to keep up with Little Witch in the Woods by Sunny Side Up is to follow them on Twitter.

Harvest Moon Mad Dash has been announced a while ago, the playable demo at E3 and some more information from Natsume and Rising Star Games left me wanting more. The cute twist on puzzle games with the charm of Harvest Moon games make this game unique.

For the ones who don’t know yet, Harvest Moon Dash is considered a spin-off the once popular Harvest Moon series. Natsume describes the game as “This different take on the Harvest Moon experience will let players enjoy the classic features of the series in a new and exciting way!”

In Mad Dash you can go solo or take along a few friends with you to harvest, fish, milk, and more as you complete orders to advance to the next level. Of course there will be plenty of obstacles to overcome in this fast paced puzzle game.

Early impressions have left fans pleasantly surprised and considered it a fun twist on traditional puzzle games with a cute Harvest Moon like theme.

Harvest Moon Mad Dash will release on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on October 29th for $29.99, just in time for the spooky season! If you are looking for more games to play this Halloween check out this list of not so scary video games!

ConcernedApe is always very humble when it comes to teasing upcoming updates as he always makes sure to set expectations right. He recently announced that fish ponds will finally be coming to the life and farming simulation game. In his latest interview with US Gamer he went into more detail about update 1.4.

Eric, the sole developer on Stardew Valley recently spoke to Us Gamer where he talked about the upcoming update.

once players experience them, I think they’ll wonder how they ever managed to play the game before! From a big picture, I see 1.4 as bringing a whole new level of polish to Stardew Valley, as well as adding in lots of rich and rewarding content to the game.

Polishing a game and deep diving into the code means that almost every aspect of Stardew Valley will see some enhancements. He went ahead and gave a few examples.

There are some really simple things that were missing from the game that really improve the experience, like being able to press TAB on PC to switch from one row of your inventory to the next, or to be able to hover over an item and get an indication as to whether it’s required for any of the community center bundles or not.

Stardew Valley is one of the most popular games on the Nintendo Switch eShop charts even years after its original release date on the PC. The game also features a co-op multiplayer where players can team up with a friend and farm, build and play together. The multiplayer update is now finally also available on PlayStation 4 in addition to Nintendo Switch and PC. The free update will also be heading to Xbox One soon.

Peaceful Days is an upcoming life and farming RPG simulation game much like the beloved Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons games. Sole developer Nhat Nguyen has updated all of us with some fun new additions to the title.

In Peaceful Days you will meet new characters as you stroll through this beautifully crafted town, make new friends or catch up with lifelong buddies – the choice is always yours. For more information on the game, head over here.

    New Milk Delivery Job

As Nhat announced in one of his latest tweets a milk delivery mini part time job has been added to the game. Players will have to pickup milk and deliver the bottles to NPC houses around the town, a great way to get to know your villagers even more.

These mini jobs remind me a lot of the ones found in Fantasy Life where you can join different professions such as Culinary career, carpenter and more. Taking on jobs around town is not just fun but is also a great way to rake in some coins to enhance your farm.

    Town Map Is Here!

Peaceful Days has also received a much requested and also very convinient world map where you can take a look at the towns layout, so you don’t get lost when exploring your surroundings! So colorful!

Peaceful Days is currently in development if you want to stay up to date on the progress you can follow Nhat on Twitter. I will also keep a close eye on the games progress so make sure to check back here!
