Moving Out is developed by SMG Studio in collaboration with Devm Games but now they have announced today that they are partnering with Team17 as their publisher! Team17 has published amazing games such as Overcooked, Automachef, Yooka-Laylee, and more, so we’re very excited that they’ll be helping out this hilarious cooperative action and simulation game! Moving Out is now coming out sometime in 2020 on PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam), Xbox One. If you’re going to PAX West this weekend, you can even try the game for yourself at Team17’s booth on the show floor! The luckiest among you can receive these wild free plushies.

Below we have a new trailer in the form of a training video to becoming a F.A.R.T. and we are so here for it. Looks like we can customize the heads of our characters (i.e. a lizard’s and flower-pot head). Also new in the trailer is the rounding up of farm animals, because farmers can move out too. Expertly move furniture with friends, get creative, and enjoy the beautiful frustration of this physics-based game! Moving in this game also seems to be quite the dangerous affair with the running through traffic and being chased by ghosts so we’re in for a good time.

One of the greatest multiplayer cooking simulation games, Overcooked 2, probably needs no introduction. The developers Ghost Town Games and the publishers at Team17 have revealed the 3rd and final DLC of their Season Pass. Each DLC can be purchased separately but the DLC so far included in The Season Pass are priced at £14.99/€16.99/$19.99 and include Night of the Hangry Horde and Campfire Cook Off. Now that pack also includes Carnival of Chaos which will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4 and Xbox One on September 12th, 2019!

As per usual, this DLC will include new chefs, new kitchens, and new recipes! This time the theme is that of a literal and figurative circus which includes carnival foods such as hot-dogs, doughnuts, and maybe popcorn. In the reveal trailer we see a strong-man and jugglers, as well as one of the players blasting out of a cannon! This game will probably have us all breathing fire! Get it, fire-eaters? We here at myPotatoGames are also loving the adorable pupper Kevin in the corner hanging out with a balloon animal.

Down in the town of Goldpan, rumours persist of an out of this world encounter. A fireball, witnessed streaking above the sandy climes of Two Point County’s Eastern reaches, is chief suspect after a range of unusual illnesses have caused strife, commotion and general unrest amongst the inhabitants of this oft-forgotten town. As an all-round medical supremo with a knack for tackling the unreal, your administration has operational access to some key locations in the area… including some areas the public really don’t need to know about. The Two Point Squabbler, the County’s finest journalistic institution, wants to know what’s going on… and you’re their ticket in.

    What’s included?

Yesterday during Gamescom 2019 Opening Night Live, one of the announcements by Sony surprised us. The live-action interactive adventure Erica, which was in development by Flavourworks for a few years, is out now! You get to play this thrilling murder mystery exclusively on PS4 for only $9.99 US. Take control of the narrative during this feature-length film/video game by making your own choices when prompted. You can even download the companion app for your mobile device to use as your controller (iOS, Android). However, do take note that this game is rated M for language, gore, etc. We here at myPotatoGames wanted to highlight this game for its easy difficulty and beautifully haunting score by acclaimed composer Austin Wintory (Pode).

    About Erica

Become Erica, a brave young lady plagued with nightmares of your father’s murder. With the traumatic events that have haunted you as a child dragged back into the light of the present day via grisly new clues, it’s up to you to unearth the shocking truth behind this devastating tragedy. Every choice you make influences how the game develops, with multiple endings awaiting you at the finale of the emotional branching narrative.

    Key Features

    • Ground-breaking live-action technology. Immerse yourself in a feature-length cinematic experience where you can affect the actions playing out onscreen, merging high-fidelity Hollywood production values with engaging, tactile gameplay.
    • Make key choices via interactive storytelling. Alter the path of the game’s branching narrative by making meaningful decisions that have a profound effect on how the story plays out. Choose how Erica interacts with other characters through conversation, dramatically shaping her relationship with them.
    • Get closer to the story with intuitive controls. Reach into Erica’s world with innovative use of the DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller’s touch pad or your mobile device’s touchscreen. Wipe steam off a mirror, lift a record needle onto vinyl, peek around corners to spy on conversations, and even control how slowly you open doors.
    • A filmic score filled with tension. Get wrapped up in every moment via a haunting soundtrack from Austin Wintory, the award-winning composer of games such as Journey, The Banner Sage 3, and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

The presentation of Kerbal 2 at Gamescom 2019 Opening Night Live surprised us! We were watching this very realistic-looking video of a rocket ship travelling through the stars, with some very serious music playing…and then all of a sudden these adorable bug-eyed little green dudes started piling out!

Described as a ‘space flight simulation game’, Kerbal Space Program 2 seems like quite the deceptive game. At first glance it appears to be very serious, but no game with a Kerbal in it could be all THAT solemn. They reminded us a little of the minions in Despicable Me. But they’re not minions…they’re Kerbonauts. And you can watch their trailer here:

    Build on the old

The game will feature “Improved Onboarding”. We think that rocket science is not something you accidentally learn, but apparently that is how Kerbals do it. Accidentally! The game will have animated tutorials, a better user interface, and revamped assembly and flight instructions to make Kerbal 2 fun for experienced players and beginners alike.

    And add some new, too!

You will also be able to build and use “next-gen” engines, fuel, parts…everything you need to be the best Kerbonaut and explore not only the entire Kerbolar System, but even beyond it! And NEW to the series are colonies. They are a challenge to build, and will also require you to gather resources to build stations, housing and other structures. But your colonies will grow and become advanced enough to support vehicle construction, furthering space exploration even more.

The better your spacecrafts, the more you will be able to explore. You can discover unique celestial bodies, such as “Ovin”, a massive ringed planet with intense gravity. Or perhaps “Rask and Rusk”, a pair of planets “locked in a dance of death” will be more to your interest!

Kerbal 2 will have modding that builds on what was available with the first game. And for the first time, multiplayer is also an option! Not much is known yet about multiplayer in Kerbal 2, but the official site assures us that we will learn more soon. The game will come to PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2020!

TY the Tasmanian Tiger was a platform game developed by Krome Studios and published by EA Games back in 2002 and was available for the Nintendo GameCube, the PS2 and the Xbox. Now hold your horses… don’t get upset… you see they’re not stuck there forever, if you’re up for a bit of an adventure! You see, deep in the Outback, there’s this kind of glowy portal thing that is a doorway to the Dreaming. Now, all you have to do is find the five Talismans, put them in the carvings, and the portal to Dreaming will open!

    • Interact with a cast of over 50 different Australian mates and unruly foes.

    • Full language support (voice and subtitles):   Strayan (English), French, German, Italian and Spanish

Besides getting a digital copy of the game on the console of your choice and your name in the credits, there are many other exciting rewards to go for such as: a beautiful 155-page artbook, a digital, CD and limited edition LP record of the game’s soundtrack, Sly’s necklace, a mug of Maurie, TY’s sun-patterned board shorts, an animal character of your likeness in the game, and a TY statuette!

We Potatoes feel pretty confident that Krome Studios’ Stretch Goal of the digital PS4 and Xbox port since they’re almost there, but there’s also once last goal that has yet to be announced. Besides that, they’e reached their stretch goals for new TY skins on the Switch and a brand new TY adventure in digital comic form.
