They are a small game dev studio founded in April this year that is currently working on Catadel. Catadel is currently in early alpha, and is expecting a release date of Fall of 2020 on PC and Mac.
Catadel is a game about creating and growing a wonderful and productive town full of whimsical kitties. Each individual cat will have their own personality, desires, needs and general state of being. The well being of your towns inhabitants is of the utmost importance, so it is paramount that you fully engage with your community.
Seeing as how one of the devs was an engineer for the The Sims, there even be an especially intuitive interaction system in the game, to help keep all your cat neighbors happy.
How you handle the healthfulness of your commonwealth will show in whether your population grows or shrinks. If your cat-habitants aren’t happy, they aren’t likely to stick around. During the Tokyo Game Show 2019 with Bitsummit’s 2019 live-stream on Twitch, we got to see a new trailer and some gameplay of Bug Fables. Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling is an action/adventure RPG developed by Moonsprout Games and published by DANGEN Entertainment and they have confirmed that it will be releasing on Steam here on November 21st, 2019, with console versions to be announced at a later date.
You might be thinking: “Ew bugs, they’re gross.” However, once you see some gameplay, you’ll instantly recognize the familiar cheeky tone, turn-based battles with companions, and the 2D paper art style reminiscent of classic Paper Mario games! Play as Vi, Kabbu, and Leif as they search Bugaria’s kingdoms, swamps, forests and deserts for The Everlasting Sapling, a treasure said to grant immortality! On the Indie Stage, we saw the Vi, a lazy bee, capable of using her Beemarang to grab items at a distance. We also saw her first companion, Kabbu, a mysterious warrior able to use his horn to cut things with force.

Snacko is an adorable farming simulation and adventure game we here at myPotatoGames have been keeping tabs on bluecurse’s updates. The indie studio is comprised of husband and wife Jordan and Erisa. In Snacko, you play as a cat named Momo who is determined to revive a once-populated island with many great resources and places to explore. The characters Momo and Mikan are even based off of the developers’ real-life cats!
Unfortunately, an error occurred during the live-stream on Twitch during Bitsummit 2019 and the Snacko trailer was nowhere to be found. Luckily, the developers have recently published the cat-tastic trailer which includes Momo farming, fishing, decorating (with ease might we add), spending time with friends, and enjoying seasonal festivities!
Snacko will be releasing sometime in 2021 on the Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam and itch.io). For more Tokyo Game Show 2019 related news, which also includes a pair of cat ears, check out our article here: Giraffe and Annika a Manga-Inspired RPG at Bitsummit 2019.

Natsume has recently shared some first insights on its next game. Harvest Moon Mad Dash is a spin off the original Harvest Moon game. While recent Harvest Moon farming games have received mixed review from fans, Harvest Moon Mad Dash promises to delight fans who enjoy co-op puzzle games much in the realm of Overcooked and other similar games.
At its core Harvest Moon Mad Dash is a color matching puzzle game, but there is a lot more to it, to make it stand out against other puzzle games. At the beginning of each round the playing field will be populated with two or more different types of crops. The player must find clever ways to combine these crops into a square. Once a player achieves this goal the flowers will blossom and become even bigger crops. Going even further to combine these bigger crops into a square, the player will be able to harvest these crops for points.

With the new DLC for Two Point Hospital, Close Encounters, now available on Steam here (followed by console releases soon), we thought it was a great opportunity to dive back into the game! If you haven’t yet heard of this tycoon management game, you can check out the details with our review here.
Don’t be alarmed by the hospital setting; the illnesses you’ll encounter are all but ordinary and come with ‘punny’ alternatives. For example: Enjoy the visual details of someone walking into your hospital with a pan on their head and direct them to a treatment room where you remove it with a giant magnet! Since we wanted to get the most out of this game and feel compelled to achieve excellence, we went after the 3-star goals in every level. Below are some tips and tricks to help you avoid the same mistakes we made that resulted in figurative and literal dumpster fires.
You’ll notice that getting that first star is always quite easy but if you want to attempt the third, you’ll need to buy more plots and expand your hospital. This will obviously give you a lot more to manage. You might be making millions but when your expenses kick in, you can lose it all and maybe even go bankrupt if you’re not careful.
When you edit rooms, it kicks everyone out of them but don’t be afraid to rearrange or delete unused rooms as it will make things easier in the long run! You should also check up on your employees and fire staff that are under-performing. Then, keep checking your patients’ health and bump the ones that are near death up the queue line before they keel over! Finally, take your time and have fun!
