The people who you have possibly purchased chicken from are now serving us a dating simulator game, I Love You, Colonel Sanders! is heading to Steam this month!
Dating in video games has long been popular with marriage and relationships frequently promoted in games like Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, Rune Factory and more. I Love You, Colonel Sanders! takes you to cooking school where you eagerly want to date one of your classmates that happens to be Colonel Sanders.
On your mission to getting the perfect date and hopefully find love, you will be faced with difficult life decisions. Every choice you make in the game will have consequences on the relationships you form at school.
The game features 9 characters that according to KFC are totally lovable and interesting. If you are just here for the chicken, you will find that the game has a lot of other things to offer outside of dating Sanders.
I Love You, Colonel Sanders! also teaches you secret recipes, homemade KFC chicken? Yes, please! Cooking battles are also part of the game in which you have to show off you cooking skills much like in the new and upcoming Cooking Mama game!

TokoToko is an augmented reality game developed by indie studio Kalank and coming to iOS devices October 3rd, 2019. Help your adorable cat artist apprentice named Hako to save her friends, the Tokotokos, by drawing real-life pictures that will come alive in-game. Journey to an island and solve puzzles to find these adorable creatures from another world and interact with them in our world. All Tokotokos are artistic and have unique personalities, for example, Azuko the lion is a narcissistic painter.
Furthermore, TokoToko lets you take pictures of Hako and her friends while using filters to create your own scenery with your drawings! Pictures then appear as Polaroid photos in-game that you can share with your friends.

Our beloved brazen froggie is back in action in Frogger in Toy Town, soon on all Apple devices.
When was the last time you thought about a new Frogger game? Frogger has been bouncing around from arcade machine to console for forever, and now is landing on many mobile devices. Frogger was born into this world as an arcade game back in 1981.
Since then he has made an appearance on nearly every console in existence. He is officially being given yet another new look, but this time his game will be available exclusively through Apple Arcade.
Developed by Q-Games, Frogger in Toy Town places the epic frog in a colorful and whimsical land. There will be some new features. to set this game apart from the rest. One such feature is the ability to acquire invulnerability for a limited time. This should just enough extra boost to get through some of the tougher levels.
Frogger in Toy Town is set to be released on September 19th, the same day as the official opening of Apple Arcade, which only charges users $5 per month for a family plan. For more information about the Apple Arcade service, be sure to check out the official Apple website.

It’s been a while since we received a major Nintendo Switch Firmware Update. Luckily today is one of those days and Nintendo even provided patch notes to go with it!
The latest 9.0.0 update brings a bunch of new enhancements, bug fixes and even adds new features to the Nintendo Switch! The latest update also includes an alarm clock to the console, now you can use your Switch to wake you up in the morning, a great way to always be close to gaming!
One feature requested by many people was the ability to send game invites to players on your friends list. This has been a common feature for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users, but was not available to Switch players until now. Supported games will now let you send invites to friends making online co-op play a lot easier and more streamlined! It may take some time for developers to adapt this new feature, but it’s a great step into the right direction!
You can check out the full patch notes below. If you’d like to make the Nintendo Switch Firmware Update right away, simply go to your settings on the Nintendo Switch and choose System Update in the System tab, as seen in the screenshot below!

Nintendo Switch Firmware Update 9.0.0 Update Notes
- Added a search feature for the News Channel.
- Channels can be searched using filters or free text.
- Added “Display QR Code to Check In” to User Settings.
- You can display a QR Code on-screen to check in using your Nintendo Account.
- Alarm Notifications have been added to System Settings > Notifications.
- You can check or delete pre-set alarms.
- Alarms can be set up only within supported software (to be added at a later time).
- A controller firmware update may be required to use this feature.
- You can now configure touch screen sensitivity settings.
- Select between Standard and Stylus sensitivity (optimized for stylus input).
- Added the option to turn on/off the system button input (Nintendo Switch Lite only).
- When this setting is turned off the system no longer receives input from the console buttons, with the exception of the Capture and HOME Buttons, and can only be operated from a wirelessly paired controller (sold separately).
- This setting is on by default and can only be turned off if a compatible controller (sold separately) is wirelessly paired to the console.
- The setting will automatically turn back on when the console is restarted or after returning from sleep mode.
- Added “Online Play Invites” section to the User’s page.
- Invites from friends to join online play in supported software will be displayed in this section.
- General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.
- Resolved an issue where some users can’t start the Fire Emblem: Three Houses game, and get an error instead.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons director Aya Kyogoku and producer Hisashi Nogam talk about things they would bring to a deserted island.
With Animal Crossing New Horizons still being months away from its official launch in March 2020, Aya and Hisashi sat down to answer some questions and reveal what they would bring to a deserted island. Your train is constantly moving and you have to hurry to build tracks by gathering the resources (wood, iron) around the unique levels. However, you only have access to one of each tool type within your team. Cooperating is therefore paramount as you will also encounter several obstacles. For example, flocks of ‘unbudging’ cows, choke points due to the terrain, and the possibility of your engines catching fire. Upgrade your train to effectively overcome certain obstacles by adding an atomic engine, upgrading your crafting wagon, attaching a supercharger, and more! You can choose to play cooperatively with up to 4 friends, or if your teammates don’t conduct themselves to your liking, compete against them in 2 vs. 2 challenges!

After giving gamers a chance to play Cube World 6 years ago, Picroma has announced a release date.
Cube World is a voxel-themed action/adventure RPG with open-world play style and procedurally generated lore. This means that every time you load up a new game, there will be all new quests to go on and characters to meet. It has been called a combination of Minecraft and World of Warcraft. The cute and colorful art is what drew us in, but we stuck around of the in-depth gameplay and expansive maps (which are also procedurally generated). In this aspect, it is quite like Don’t Starve in 3D.
Now, this game almost wouldn’t be a myPotatoGame based on the graphics alone. There is heavy combat with class types (Rogue, Mage, Warrior and Ranger) and all that. There is, however, crafting and resourcing to help keep our nerves calm between fights. And with the procedurally generated maps comes endless exploration, from flying in the skies on a hang-glider to exploring the oceans in your boat.
With seemingly infinite ways to play and equal playability, Cube World has certainly made it onto our must-play list. The developer has announced that the game will “hopefully” be released by the end of September or sometime in October this year. As of yet, it appears that the game will only be available on PC.

There is finally a release date for the remastered version of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is an action adventure RPG with some pretty cute graphics. It definitely focused a little more on cutesy art than. any other installment in the Final Fantasy series (unless you count any game involving Chocobos). Crystal Chronicles was originally released for the Nintendo Gamecube in North America on February 9th 2004. Now, the official remaster will be released for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, iOS and Android on January 23rd, 2020.
In Crystal Chronicles, you have the classic goal of helping an entire planet stay alive. Nothing new for the Final Fantasy universe, other than not having been on a Nintendo Console since Final Fantasy VI. You get to create a custom character in this one, and it goes as far as selecting gender and class. The goal is to collect myrrh from rare trees so that you may help fuel the crystals that power the planet. You will cruise with a party, which can be your real friends thanks to the multiplayer function. Explore the world in search of dungeons that contain the rare myrrh trees.
