It appears the developers of this amazing creature collection game weren’t ready for such a big launch.

Temtem is the new creature collection game on the block, and it boasts online functionality like no other Pokemon-like (or Pokemon game, for that matter) currently on the market. With super cute graphics and the ability to play the campaign with friends online, Temtem got pretty popular leading up to its release yesterday.

    Temtem

Since launch, there have been a few hiccups with being a bit over capacity. Players of Temtem have been experiencing issues with loading into games, and staying in them as well. It appears the developers of the game did not anticipate such a huge reaction from the fans.

The servers are a bit overloaded, but the developers are doing their best to fix the issue, as well as keep players up to pace with what is going on. The most recent patch says that they have now even fixed the co-op, so things are surely looking to be running at full capacity very soon.

    Temtem Official Trailer

If you would like to see what all the hubbub is about, head over to Steam where you can get Temtem for $34.99. To stay up to date with what is going on with the fixes, you can follow the game on Twitter. For more fun creature collection action, check out my coverage of Pokemon Sword & Shield.

Currently in development by Naps Team, Baldo is an upcoming action-adventure coming to Switch, amongst other platforms. The Zelda-inspired game has a cel-shaded art style, which is comparable to that of Studio Ghibli and Ni No Kuni.

There isn’t a lot of information available about Baldo. However, the following Nintendo announcement trailer, shows that in-game action is top-down, but that the game’s pseudo-realistic backgrounds are 3D.

The description beneath the game’s announcement trailer says the following:

The prophecy came true, the pure child is born. The no heart creature sealed in the underworld by the wise owls is about to rise again. The game is set in the world of Rodia, a journey into a magical land full of mysteries to discover. Baldo is an action adventure rpg, full of puzzles and intricate dungeons to solve. Traveling around the world, Baldo will interact with many weird and funny characters scattered everywhere, to complete the main story quest and many other side quests. You’ll travel into an open world map discovering new towns and people, fighting enemies, locating hidden temples and collecting objects to get new weapons or items to use.

From the trailer, it looks like players encounter a variety of characters and monsters. Additionally, it appears that dungeon-crawling, puzzle-solving and exploration all feature in the game.

Baldo will release on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.

A release date for the game is still TBA.

Baldo has its own Facebook and Twitter pages where you can follow the game’s progress. Despite a lack of posts since earlier in 2019, Baldo recently replied to a post on WholesomeGames Twitter on 12th January.

    Yay! They’re alive! 🙂

Join two youngsters on a mission in The Wild at Heart, an upcoming Pikmin-like adventure game.

Super cute indies are definitely my go to games when I’m looking for a new adventure where anything is possible. Explore the creation of one persons (or a small team of people) imagination, and reveal all that was meant to inspire joy. I pride myself on having an eye for cute games, and The Wild at Heart is certainly one.

    The Wild at Heart

Nothing says adorable like tiny little sprites that you can command to do your bidding. In The Wild at Heart, you can craft, resource and explore with your tiny Spriteling army. Our protagonists are two children on a journey wrought with peril. The classic tale of two children besting beasties and overcoming the darkness that threatens the land.
