Become the manager of your very own bath house for spirits in the cute upcoming indie Sprittea.
The world of adorable indie games grows more vast by the day. Time to add another to the expansive list, as Spirittea is currently in production by solo developer Dan Beckerton. Take all the good things about a relaxing, zen sim-life game, and add a few disgruntled spirits in much need of some R&R, and you’ve got Spirittea.
This game is currently running a kickstarter campaign. There you can find more information, as well as have the chance to be a part of the development.
What is Spirittea?
The plot of the game is as relaxing as the title infers. After arriving in a new town, you immediately get the feel that something is not right. This is proven to be true when you drink tea from a mysterious pot that gives you the ability to see into the spirit world.
It very quickly becomes clear what is the problem with the town. This particular community is overrun with disgruntled spirits. So what do you do? You turn your new home into a bath house for spirits. This way, you help all the sad souls finally find peace!
Features to expect.
One of the primary goals in the game is proper business management. Expect all the intricacies we’ve come to know over years of playing management games. Make upgrades and improvements to your business to make for happier customers. In this case, it just happens to be melancholy ghosts.
Spirritea will also feature many of the goodies that we know and love from many of todays popular life-sim games. There will be a bit of fishing, with a healthy variety slippery buggers to catch. You can also go digging for buried treasure or do a little bug catching in your spare time. There will also be a day/night cycle, as well as changing seasons, so we can expect to sink many hours into this cute indie.
