A major update for the Nether region in Minecraft gets loads of new content on June 23rd.
Minecraft is one of the biggest and most in-depth games currently on the market, and it just keeps getting bigger. The most recent update will apply to the Nether region, a hell-like zone with molten lava and lots of baddies to slay.
The update will add new enemies to battle, new items to check out, and loads of new regions to explore. The update is actually quite major, and will add way too much to new content to explain it all here.
There will be new biomes, mobs, structures, items, armor and even crafting materials. There is even going to be an all new target block to add some variety of activation to your Redstone switches.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons couldn’t have released at a better time. I know for me personally, its delayed release was a blessing in disguise. The game has facilitated online friendships with like-minded people (and therefore lessened loneliness) and been a wholesome distraction during these difficult times.
But these are just ways in which the game has helped me. Animal Crossing: New Horizons has helped people cope with so many other disappointments. For example, with many weddings having been cancelled, gamers have been creating virtual wedding ceremonies instead, something which is now considerably easier with Reese and Cyrus’s new wedding season furniture this month.
Students with postponed graduation ceremonies have been holding their very own, in-game birthday parties are now a common occurrence, and Black Lives Matter Designs are being made and shared so that players can still show support and solidarity. We are now in June (this year has flown!), which means that it’s finally Pride month!

With Pride events being cancelled/disrupted, or being a very different experience from what most are used to, you may have sadly decided to give Pride a miss this year. Announced in the recent Pokemon Direct, there is an all new Pokemon Snap game that will be released for the Nintendo Switch.
Nostalgia abounds in the latest streaming of the Pokemon Direct. The Pokemon Company has announced that there will be an all new Pokemon Snap game coming to the Nintendo Switch. The game is being developed by Bandai Namco, and it appears to be called simply “New Pokemon Snap”. There was much information revealed, as well as a trailer for the game which can be viewed below.
About Pokemon Snap
The original Pokemon Snap was released for the Nintendo 64 back in 1999. Some of you may be too young to remember, but it was a huge hit and a major success in the Pokemon series.
Certainly a unique game within the franchise, it is a first person “shooter” where the player adventures through unknown lands taking pictures of Pokemon in their natural habitats. The primary goal being to fill up Photodex with as many Pokemon as possible.
Players move through the world on a rail, and use different items to help achieve the best possible photos. At the end of each level, the player is then judged on the quality of each photo taken. You could even take your cartridge to certain stores to have your pictures printed on stickers.
The New Pokemon Snap
The idea is essentially the same for the new iteration. You will travel to unknown lands to take pictures of Pokemon as the exist in the wild. The goal of the game will be to fill up your Pokemon Photodex with as many Pokemon as possible, with as many different expressions as possible.
The Pokemon Company also released the following features list:
– See a different side of Pokémon in a new photo-snapping adventure, only on Nintendo Switch
– Research various Pokémon in their natural habitats and capture Pokémon behaviors that you’ve never seen before
– Explore unknown islands with scenery like lush jungles and tropical beaches throughout your journey

Players from around the world created stunning island designs and KFC jumped on the wagon with the first ever restaurant in Animal Crossing New Horizons.
Colonel Sanders just finished building his first Animal Crossing restaurant and if you are lucky enough you can even visit it! The restaurant is currently only available to fans in the Phillippines, however, if you are lucky enough to get in, a surprise might await you!
Upon your arrival on KFC island colonel Sanders will be hiding somewhere, if you happen to find his hiding location, you will be awarded a coupon for an eight piece chicken meal! Yum!
In addition to the coupons, rumors have it that Colonel Sanders is hiding his secret eleven flavor chicken recipe somewhere in an inaccessible part of the island! You might be able to spot it in the screenshots below!

Calico is one of the cutest upcoming cat games and today the developers released a free playable demo in celebration of the ongoing Steam Festival.
Calico came about due to the game developer’s obsession with cats, magical girls and fluffy animals. However, wanting to create a game that would appeal to everyone, she also included creatures such as lizards, birds, deer, raccoons, dogs, turtles, red pandas, foxes, etc.

Running a cat cafe is not the only things that players can do. The game also incorporates enjoyable aspects from other popular gaming franchises such as Animal Crossing. Similarities between Calico and Animal Crossing include the simulation aspects of both games, and the ability to place furnitire and decorations in your buildings. A perk about Calico however, is that the animals will not leave, the shop never closes, and crops never die.

Don’t Starve Together has a new character, and a little video showcasing said hero.
Don’t Starve Together is one of those games that you can always pick back up and get right back into. I mean, with procedurally generated maps, it is a new experience every time. Not only that, but the game is still receiving updates that add all sorts of new things to the adventure. The latest update brings us a new hero to embody. The hero is named Walter, and he even has a companion doggo named Woby.
About Walter and Woby.
As with all the characters in Don’t Starve Together, Walter has his own unique attributes to bring a unique experience to playing the game. While he is not afraid of anything (won’t lose sanity in the dark), he doe constantly lose sanity throughout the day. He will also lose sanity from being hit. So this will be the one point that you will need to focus on during your adventures with Walter.
He will also come with his very own slingshot. This cool little weapon will even come with its own special types of ammo, including poo to scare away baddies, and cursed ammo to summon tentacles to fight in your stead.
A not-so-brave doggo.
Possibly the coolest thing about Walter is his little buddy Woby. Woby is a hairy pup that starts out small, and will grow to a bigger form through feeding it enough monster meat (Woby only eats monster meat). Woby will be able to carry things, much like Chester. And once she reaches her bigger form, you will even be able to ride Woby like a domesticated Beefalo. However, if you let her starve, she will go back to her small form.

The new character, Walter, will also come with a few different skins to choose from. This way, you will be able to pick which one best matches your own personality and play style. The skins will be available through the Walter Deluxe Wardrobe DLC, which will cost $7.99. The skins are as follows…
