The recent Nintendo leak revealed not only unreleased game details but also an unknown Animal Crossing villager.
The Nintendo leak revealed a lot about Super Mario 64 and Super Mario world among other things. Animal Crossing is a long running franchise and it turns out that the leak brought an unreleased villager back to life.
The file from the original Animal Crossing game, called Dōbutsu no Mori ( Animal Forrest ), a game that was first released in 2001, shows a brand new villager that Nintendo never choose to add to the game. A developer named Matthew Lombardo has dug deep into the game files and found a villager named “Catty”. Say Hi to Catty below!
Lombardo believes that Catty is actually not a resident but more of a traveling character like Leif or Redd in Animal Crossing New Horizons. There are plenty of cat characters to be found in Animal Crossing but one could argue that there can never be enough cat themed villagers to meet.
New Animal Crossing New Horizons Update adds custom fireworks an more!

Dream Suit and Firework Events are coming to Animal Crossing New Horizons in a free update later this month.
Fans of Animal Crossing New Leaf may already be familiar with “Dreaming” the next big feature coming to New Horizons. Dreaming, also known as Dream Suit in New Leaf, will introduce the ability to visit other player islands in a dream like state. To start dreaming you will just have to take a nap in your bed.
Dreaming in Animal Crossing New Horizons
This feature is one of the many rumored features coming to the game. Vegetable farming and cooking is also expected to be coming to New Horizons.
“While dozing off, you may find yourself in a strange realm where you’ll be greeted by Luna,” Nintendo said “Luna offers visits to other islands as a dream, and with her help, you can share your island as a dream with others too. She will grant those who share their island a ‘Dream Address’ which players can exchange and use to visit each other’s island in a dream.”
Fireworks will also make a return in New Horizons. Islanders from around the world can start enjoying fireworks every Sunday evening at 7 p.m. The fireworks show will also offer other activities as players will be able to purchase raffle tickets to unlock various new prizes.
Nintendo also said that it will be possible to custom design patterns to create brand new firework displays!
Save your island online!
Nintendo also introduced a new island backup service where every now and then a backup of your island will be uploaded to Nintendos server to make sure you won’t loose it if anything happens to your console!
The free Animal Crossing New Horizons update will go live on Nintendo Switch on July 30th, 2020.

Heat waves are coming in and what better way to stay cool than to build an adorable swimming pool area in Animal Crossing New Horizons!
It is absolutely breathtaking to see the level of creativity a game like New Horizons can unleash. Players from all around the world are creating amazing designs. Let it be a stunning island layout, some amazing path designs ( like these ) or sweet themed areas like a swimming pool. Looking at some of these creations I often wonder if I am even playing the same game.
If you remember I put together a bunch of island designs from other players to function as some sort of inspiration for your next big project and I feel that these swimming pool designs inspired me in a great way to give my island the summer flair it was lacking before! The official Animal Crossing Ichiban Kuji is finally happening and comes with a bunch of adorable items!

Nintendo just launched the first ever official Animal Crossing New Horizons Instagram account to share even more island news.
Animal Crossing New Horizons remains to be a popular topic on most social media platforms. Players from around the world are sharing everything that happens on their islands. From beautiful custom designs to heartfelt stories about people connecting through the game.
