Two Point Hospital, the cheeky hospital management simulation game by Two Point Studios and SEGA, finally has a release date for consoles; February 25th, 2020! Not only will you be able to pre-purchase it digitally right now on the Microsoft Store and PlayStation Store today, with the Nintendo eShop listing coming soon, but there will also be physical copies too!

I enjoyed playing Two Point Hospital on Steam so much that I did a deep dive on how to perfect the game and get all of the stars with some advanced tips and tricks here. Not because the game is overly hard, but that I wanted to pour as many hours into it as possible and enjoy the flood of strange looking patients getting even stranger treatments. For those of you already playing this game, don’t forget you can purchase the Yogscast Jingle Jam Bundle over at Humble Bundle for charity and for some festive goodies.

Sega has recently released a gameplay trailer for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, and the game looks absolutely adorable.

In case you missed it, the last Super Monkey Ball title for console is being remade, and is titled Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD. It will feature many improvements over the original, including new levels and some amped up graphics. You will once again have to help Aiai recover the scattered pieces of the Golden Banana Bunch. Time for some more mad dashing and banana snatching for all the Super Monkey Ball fans, the wait is finally over!

The original title was released for the Nintendo Wii in 2006, and had a mostly warm reception. Some criticized the game for having somewhat difficult controls, given that the title was run with the Wii’s motion controls, and could be difficult to use when trying to play a game that can require some real precision at time. Luckily, the new title will have control sets optimized for each console. Not having to deal with motion controls will be a big plus here!

The new trailer gives us a look at what exactly we are headed into with Banana Blitz HD. You can tell right away that the update to the graphics was a major focal point for this remake, which makes total sense since the title was only changed by the letters HD. Aside from the graphics, SMB: Banana Blitz HD will feature 100 main levels and 10 multiplayer mini-games.

The new title will also feature online leaderboards, which is something totally new to the Super Monkey Ball Series. Banana Blitz HD will be releasing for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and later for PC. Be sure to keep a close eye out, as this game currently has a release set for 10-29-2019 and can be pre-order via Amazon already!

During Gamescom 2019, publisher SEGA just announced their latest DLC “Close Encounters” for Two Point Hospital and it has aliens! Two Point Hospital is a tongue-in-cheek hospital sim builder developed by Two Point Studios. It’s still coming to all major consoles later this year but for now let’s look into this new Steam DLC which you can pre-purchase for August 29th, 2019! Down in the town of Goldpan, rumours persist of an out of this world encounter. A fireball, witnessed streaking above the sandy climes of Two Point County’s Eastern reaches, is chief suspect after a range of unusual illnesses have caused strife, commotion and general unrest amongst the inhabitants of this oft-forgotten town. As an all-round medical supremo with a knack for tackling the unreal, your administration has operational access to some key locations in the area… including some areas the public really don’t need to know about. The Two Point Squabbler, the County’s finest journalistic institution, wants to know what’s going on… and you’re their ticket in.

Two Point Hospital is a quirky hospital sim builder developed by Two Point Studios and published by SEGA. For those of you who recall playing EA’s Theme Hospital back in the late 90’s, Two Point Hospital will have you feeling nostalgia as the two games are very similar with Two Point Hospital feeling just like an updated version.

Today SEGA announced that Two Point Hospital will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch! The game that has more than 97% positive reviews on Steam will now be heading to the big screen.

There are a whooping 15 levels in Two Point Hospital where you build various rooms, hire staff to run them and once you have everything you need, the game will run itself while you watch – if that is something you desire.

But the game really shines when you start micromanaging and treating your patients, making sure there are enough seats in the waiting room and enough doctors on call to treat all the patients.

There are a few other options like making your hospital look visually appealing, making sure your patients don’t get bored, putting sanitation centers to insure the cleanliness of the hospital, and training your staff, but these aspects are also very limited. The simplicity of this game-play led for a very relaxing afternoon but I felt like the game needed more context to keep me playing it.

Two Point Hospital will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch later this year! Check out the fun new announcement trailer below.

It’s been 5 years since we’ve had any entries into the Super Monkey Ball series, and 7 since we’ve had any on a console. Fans of the series won’t have to wait much longer to catch up with Aiai and the gang, though. SEGA has officially announced an HD remake of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz!

The HD remaster has a release date of October 29, 2019. Needless to say, October just keeps looking better and better for the MyPotatoGames fam!

Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz was originally released for the Nintendo Wii in 2006. It introduced a new villain, Captain Crabuchin, and had a total of 8 boss battles.

So far, we know that Banana Blitz HD will have 100 main levels and 10 multiplayer minigames. New graphics are, obviously, included and controls will be optimized for each platform. Also, for the first time ever in the series, there will be online leaderboards.

The best news is that Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD will be released on all current major consoles. That means you’ll be able to play on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam! Although pages aren’t yet up for all the consoles, you can already pre-order on Amazon.

    Watch the announcement trailer:

Super Monkey Ball is far from the only nostalgic series getting a remake. Check out our pieces on The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town remakes!

    Puyo Puyo Champions

Puyo Puyo is like a cute, bubbly version of Tetris.

Sega announced recently that Puyo Puyo Esports will be releasing in the West under the title Puyo Puyo Champions. This title is a multiplayer puzzle game with a heavy focus on online play. Champions has the fast-paced thrill of the previous titles, only now with other features and game modes to expand the experience a bit. One of the more notable additions is the tournament mode, in which 8 players battle against each other to be the best.

    Puyo Puyo Chamions

It appears that Puyo Puyo Champions shares much likeness with Puyo Puyo Tetris, another installment in the series. With a shiny new coat of paint, and other new features like being able to save replays of your craziest moves, Champions is a great addition to the growing genre of online multiplayer puzzlers. Champions will be releasing in the west on May 7th, and will cost only $9.99US. The western version of Puyo Puyo Esports will be released on PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

    Puyo Puyo Tetris

For another awesome and exhilarating online multiplayer puzzler, don’t forget to check out Tetris 99! For more information about this title, check out Nintendo.com.
