One Lonely Outpost is a unique farming simulation game that is more in-depth than most games I have played in this genre. You find yourself on a far away deserted and lonely alien planet – that of course you can name, it is your job to bring it back to life and create a thriving community.
Unlike most farming games where the only decision in growing crops is which vegetable or fruit you wish to plant, in this game you must decide whether you want to genetically modify your crops and grow glowing veggies, or if you prefer to grow organically.
The choice matters, while going the genetically modified route may make your crops more drought resistant and grow a lot quicker, you may end up with fuzzy tomatoes that sell for much less. Organic crops on the other hand take a little longer to grow but will result in a much healthier fruit allowing you to sell it for more.
One Lonely Outpost goes even deeper when it comes to its farming simulation. Tending to crops isn’t done in a single click anymore. You will be prompted with a close-up of your plant where you can take scissors to trim rotten leafs and make sure its as healthy as can be.
Farming is made to be fun and engaging in One Lonely Outpost, being able to choose how you want to grow your crops and taking environmental impacts into account creates a unique and fun farming experience.
Even though the in-depth farming may get you carried away, don’t forget that the deserted planet you find yourself on, is full of mysteries waiting to be discovered.
There are ruins that you can explore but be aware some of these might have alien robots willing to test you, if you succeed you shall be rewarded generously.
You don’t have to be alone forever just because you find yourself on a lonely far away planet in the beginning, as in addition to farming and exploring you will also be building a thriving community, add homes and shops and other villagers may join your adventure.
Every villager that will join you, given you provide enough food for them, will feature a unique character with unique dialogues. Once you get to know them you might become friends… or even more? You can get married if you happen to find your one and only!
You will be able to meet a bunch of characters that you can date and get married too if that is your choice. Aaron, Sally, Sydney, Finnick, Dirk and Eve are among the available candidates.
Of course One Lonely Outpost features everything you come to expect from a farming and life simulation game. Spend your days on the farm, do some fishing, mining, exploring and more!
One Lonely Outpost has successfully been funded on Kickstarter and has passed its goal by a great amount! The game is launching on Nintendo Switch and PC and bakers can choose their preferred platform.
You can already wishlist the game on Steam and even check out some more details about One Lonely Outpost.

Stardew Valley was released more than three years ago and has since then seen a release on almost every major platform, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, mobile phones and even on PlayStation Vita.
The game has set new standards for farming games and recently celebrated a milestone of more than 10 million units sold. But Eric ( ConcernedApe ) creator of the game has no intentions of slowing down.
He recently teased a major new update coming to the farming simulator bringing new features and tons of new things to do. In addition to the thriving modding community these frequent updates give the game great replay-ability.
Today Game Informer had a chance to sit down with Eric for an in-depth interview. He was asked on why updates for a game this popular are free. Which in todays gaming world is a rare occasion. His heartfelt answer was that he truly cares for the Stardew Valley community and thinks “…in a way, people are paying for the updates with their appreciation and love for Stardew Valley.”
Game Informer also asked the beloved developer on why there are not more marriage candidates in the game. He would love to add more candidates “If could just push a button, and it would do that all perfectly, then I would make many more of the characters marriage candidates.”
In addition he was asked if he plans to add more options to interact with kids and give them more of a purpose in the game – “When it comes to your own children, I feel like it’s the same thing. It needs to be left vague, or it will run into that problem.”
“I know it sounds like I’m just saying this, but I really do care about the fans, and I want to make them happy. There’s a whole Stardew Valley community that loves the game, and I don’t want them to stop loving the game. People ask, ‘Why don’t you charge for the updates?’ But in a way, people are paying for the updates with their appreciation and love for Stardew Valley.”
“I’m not willing to commit to Stardew Valley 1.6. I will say that I definitely love Stardew Valley. I love it as a world and a universe. I don’t think [1.5] will be the end of Stardew Valley. I would not be surprised if there’s another Stardew Valley update, or multiple updates, or a Stardew Valley 2.
Who knows? There’s isn’t currently a Stardew Valley 2; after 1.5, I’ll decide what the next step for Stardew Valley is. But I would say there will probably be another step for Stardew Valley. In the meantime, I’m also working on a couple of new projects – solo projects – so I have plenty to do.”
The first and only Stardew Valley physical Collector’s Edition is here, it features an adorable wooden standee and is totally worth a look!

ConcernedApe for the ones who don’t know is the creator of Stardew Valley and he isn’t shy to tease fans with some more hints at what’s to come in the next major update. Only a few weeks ago he tweeted about a major change coming to how beds function in the game!
Stardew Valley 1.5 will be yet another free update for the farming simulator and according to ConcernedApe will pack a bunch of new features to keep the aging life sim game fresh and interesting for years to come! Its no surprise that he recently released the first and most adorable Stardew Valley collectors edition featuring a wooden standee and other goodies!
In the latest tweet he teased that ducks will be coming to the game and swimming in the water for the very first time and in addition to that, players will now be able to sit! What better way than to spend a nice day by the lake then comfortably seated on a chair!
But even more interesting is that we will finally be able to place furniture outside! This has been a much requested feature for Animal Crossing! New Horizons now feature the ability to place (almost ) anything anywhere! I am so excited to see that we will soon be able to decorate Pelican Town to our likings!
If you like to bring a little bit more Animal Crossing into Pelican Town you are in luck! The AC style aquarium is now open and accepting donations in Stardew Valley.
One of the most appealing things about Animal Crossing is the collection of things. Grow your item and furniture collection, complete your critterpedia and have all the animals in your town or island that you desire. This extremely fun but also addictive behavior is now coming to Stardew Valley with a fan made mod.
The latest mod adds an aquarium to your town and much like the one found in Animal Crossing New Horizons or even previous games in the series as well. You will be able to donate fish that you catch in the rivers and ocean around you. All the fish you end up donating will of course be displayed in style so that you get a sense of completion when you fill the empty exhibitions spots in the museum.
Every time you donate one of your fish it will be displayed proudly in the museum. Even better, there are donation milestones and each time you reach a new one, you will be given a price as a token of appreciation for your generousity. The mod is very well made to an extend that each fish has an animation making it even more of a joy to explore your museum!
If you played Animal Crossing and enjoy the museum and/or you simply want to have something new in your town, this mod is absolutely worth a try! You can get the Aquarium mod right here!

The latest Tweet from Concerned Ape about update 1.5 has absolutely stunned the entire community. With a revolutionary stunt, Concerned Ape has now taken gaming into the next generation as he implements the ability to move your bed in the game.
What exactly does he mean by “move your bed”? Will we be able to rotate it? Flip it? Will it levitate? Will it become a new form of travel? Or does this just mean we will now have the ability to drastically effect the emotions of the bed? Only time will tell.
And what’s more, what sort of implications could this have on the rest of the game. Will the creatures in the mine be brave enough to approach after you’ve performed such a feat? Will your crops grow twice as strong knowing they have such a capable horticulturalist at the helm? I can only speculate, but this certainly very exciting stuff!

Stardew Valley has been available for many years, so it is amazing to see that even so long after its initial release, special Stardew related announcements still excite fans to date.
Fangamer just tweeted “Until next week, have patience…” with an image of a mysterious Stardew Valley themed envelope. In addition to the image there is also a date of July 30th, possibly the day Fangamer is ready to reveal their announcement.

Stardew Valley is one of the most iconic farming/life sim games currently on the market. And the developer, who goes by Concerned Ape, is still updating the game and adding content, all without charging a dime for the DLC. Well, the latest update is on the way and the developer has confirmed that real progress is bieng made.
The 1.4 update brought all kinds of new goodies to check out; from powerful new items to an array of new customization pieces. Even some new music was added to the game to ensure that unique and personal feeling that this game gives stays around for endless more hours.
In a recent Tweet, Concerned Ape announced the the new update is still well in the works, but much progress is being made. The developer even teases that the update will hold “a significant new piece of end-game content”! Very exciting stuff. I will be sure to post the contents of the update as soon as we know more.
In addition to major new enhancements to the game, Eric might also consider adding a new fruit to the farming simulator. In a recent poll that ConcernedApe held on his Twitter account he asked fans to vote for their favorite fruit. In the end it turned out that Bananas won with a lead over the other options. It will be interesting to see if we get a new fruit and hopefully some new recipes along with it!
