We have expressed our excitement for Solo Islands Of The Heart just a few months back, with no release date in sight. Now we know that the game will be coming to consoles very soon!

Solo Islands Of The Heart is an adorable puzzle game set in the tropical and lush environment of a remote island. The rich and colorful look of the game support the engaging yet fun puzzles you will need to solve in order to advance in the game.

Solo also puts a heavy focus on an emotional storyline that guides the player through the gorgeous and surreal archipelago. The player will reflect on ones loving relationships while exploring this dream like-island.

Solo Islands Of The Heart has been out on Steam and the Humble Bundle store for some time now. But with the recent announcement we can finally enjoy the game on our preferred consoles as well. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will receive the game on July 31st, Nintendo Switch owners will receive the game on August 1st – each platforms shares the same price tag of $14.99.

For more puzzle like and mystery solving games, check out the latest on Level-5s Layton’s Mystery Journey Katrielle And The Millionaires’ Conspiracy – Deluxe Edition for Nintendo Switch.

About Solo: Islands of the Heart

The developers behind the game say that the game is essentially all about love, as Team Gotham, indie development team behind the game states in the press release “It is a universal feeling, but each of us experiences it in a different way.”

Thursday 18th July, 2019 – Manchester, England: Team Gotham and Merge Games are delighted to announce that Solo: Islands of the Heart, the colourful and thought-provoking puzzle experience, is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this Summer!

Solo is a game about love. About love as fuel, the force that drives us.

It is a universal feeling, but each of us experiences it in a different way. Individually, it holds different meanings depending on a variety of factors such as culture, gender, sexuality or traumas. That’s why Solo explores this theme in an introspective way, to have the players identify and reflect on their own experiences.

Solo is a contemplative puzzler set on a gorgeous and surreal archipelago. Reflect on your loving relationships by exploring contemplative, dream-like islands.

    • Reflect on love’s place in your life with a personal and introspective branching narrative.
    • Combine blocks with different properties offering multiple solutions for most puzzles.
    • Contemplate and explore a living world: take photos of the charming, colourful islands amidst tranquil tunes or play the guitar for cute creatures.

Nature and contemplation are also a huge part of Solo – you could feed the animals or just sit on a bench and take the time to think. After all, it’s up to you – Solo provides you with the opportunity to explore at your own pace.

The world is divided into archipelagos, and each archipelago is formed by small islands. Each island represents a unique puzzle the sailor will have to solve before getting to the Sleeping Totems and awakening them to answer a question about love and relationships. Using boxes, each with different properties and behaviours, the sailors can build their own paths to the Sleeping Totems on each island.

However, as is the case with love, most puzzles offer no unique solution.

Solo: Islands of the Heart releases on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One soon. The Xbox One version will be released on the 31st July, and the Nintendo Switch version will be available on the 1st August. Solo will be coming to PlayStation 4 very soon, with a date to be announced shortly. The game will be priced at £14.99/ $19.99/ €19.99.

Fantasy Life Online has seen several delays as we reported earlier, but the game finally released in Japan last year back in July as an open beta first. Level-5 has been very quiet about a western release of the popular mobile game. Though the company did reveal that other Japanese only games such as Professor Layton and The Snack World are indeed getting an English version. However, we have some brand new Fantasy Life Online footage with an English translation.

Thanks to reddit user Jarop, we can enjoy a bunch of Fantasy Life Online footage in English! Learn about the game, or find out how to play the Japanese version with the help of his videos.

Jarop revealed that there are currently 12 jobs in the game. Much in the fashion of previous Fantasy Life titles on Nintendo 3DS, players will be able to master any of the jobs – cooking, hunting, crafting will all be part of the selection. Fantasy Life Online also features multiplayer where up to 4 friends can team up to explore the world together.

The mobile game has been extremely popular in Japan with recent content updates making it an ever playground for any fans of the series. Players can now even customize their own town.

For more information on Fantasy Life Online check out or previous coverage on the game. We have reached out to Level-5 for some more information on a possible western release of the game.

Windscape, a game released on Steam back in September of 2016 is finally coming to Nintendo Switch. The RPG game was first announced for Nintendos hybrid console in March of 2018, now we finally received an official release date.

The game is now scheduled for a Nintendo Switch release on March 27th. Windscape was originally going to release on the Wii U, however that version never appeared on the console. The developers turned their focus on the Nintendo Switch version of the game, which will finally land in our hands soon!

The developers have also created a special treat for fans of the game. Every pre-order will come at a %20 discount, and pre-loading will go live on March 8th. If you can’t wait to play Windscape, make sure to check out the Nintendo eShop to pre-order the game.

    About Windscape

Windscape is a first-person exploration adventure set in a lovely world made up of floating islands in the sky. The game is highly reminiscent of the The Legend of Zelda games as well as Secret of Mana and Golden Axe Warrior of which the developer is a huge fan of. As such Windscape combines the spirit and flow of these genre classics with elements of modern exploration, crafting and survival games. The result is a unique game with a fresh blend of genres.

Meet peaceful NPCs each island’s overworld and vicious monsters in the dungeons and lairs you uncover along your journey. While the islands work in a non-linear manner, the dungeons are more puzzle and combat driven – each with its own style and atmosphere. However, brute force won’t get you far in larger boss fights. Tactics and figuring out your enemies’ combat patterns are key to defeating larger foes such as ghosts, ogres and dragons. Your effort will be rewarded of course – there are many valuable items to loot!.

    Features:

    A handcrafted universe
A beautiful world to explore and discover
An immersive yet classical story around a young girl
A profound yet simple to use crafting system
Murky dungeons and challenging boss fights

For more details check out our Windscape preview here. If you are seeking more RPG related gaming news check out Level-5’s Ni no Kuni II Revenant Kingdom over here. In case you missed it, Harvest Moon creator Yasuhiro Wada also released Little Dragons Cafe on the Nintendo Switch.
