The Sims team has just teased a new announcement for the life simulation game.
EA and Maxis rang in the new year with a huge tease. Some of the developers behind the game known as Sim Gurus have teased a big announcement for The Sims4.
To give fans something to think about until the actual announcement will happen on January 12th. Nine SimGurus posted a small gif on their twitter. Thanks to a clever Twitter user who put all of the gifs together we got a better look at what Maxis is teasing.
It appears that a new stuff or expansion pack with a spooky theme might be heading our way. The nine gifs put together reveal a Sim haunted by ghosts floating around the character.
Since we recently received the Snowy Escape expansion where you can explore rural Japan, it is safe to assume that this announcement will refer to a stuff pack rather and an entirely new expansion pack.
Traditionally EA and Maxis released spooky and magic focused expansion/stuff packs closer to the Halloween season, so it will be interesting to see what this new pack will entail. The curtain will be lifted on January 12th!

The Sims 4 received an all new expansion pack taking you to the rural side of Japan.
The Sims 4 has been around for many years but EA and Maxis are anything but done with the game. following the last Nifty Knitting expansion, a new pack has finally arrived and it lets our Sims travel to Japan.
The new add-on packs everything you need to make your vacation a hit. Mt. Komorebi, the all new world that you can visit is the first one that features residential homes as well as vacation homes. So if you end up loving your trip so much you may end up buying a plot and move your Sim family to a whole new world.

In addition the expansion pack features a whooping 130 new Create a Sim items to fully embrace the new culture in Mt. Komorebi. While the new world can be visited in any season such as Spring where you can find Cherry Blossom trees everywhere, you may also visit it during winter where your Sims can enjoy snowboarding and skiing in various places.
The Sims 4 Snowy Escape Expansion Pack Release Date
The next expansion pack for The Sims 4, called Snowy Escape, retails for $39.99 and is now available for PC and Mac just in time to enjoy cozy winter evenings.

The Sims is receiving a Star Wars themed Expansion for the first time in the long running history of the franchise.
EA and Maxis have revealed the next expansion pack for The Sims 4. Star Wars Journey to Batuu is the next big thing entering your Sims life. The Sims 4 is still going strong even years after its initial release. Maxis just released another free update adding tons of new features to the game.
Welcome back Firefighters!
The Sims 4 latest and free update adds long requested content such as the old but now new Firefighters NPC. If you accidentally set your kitchen on fire, you don’t need to rush and find a fire extinguisher but instead give your friendly neighborhood firestation a call and they will ( hopefully ) fix your problem within minutes!
Free window placement!

Prior to this update windows would snap onto a grid not allowing you to freely place the window on any height you like! With the latest update there are almost no limitations anymore!
Ladders are here!
There have always been stairs in The Sims and even elevators to create beautiful designs and make your design ideas come to live. But some areas such as tree houses may call for a ladder or other designs call for something that doesn’t take as much space as stairs or elevators. Ladders are the solution and can be placed and used anywhere to climb up to a second or even third floor!
