After the initial launch fans were somewhat disappointed to find out that Build-A-Bear is only offering Isabelle and Tom Nook as the first ever customizable AC characters in a Build-A-Bear shop.
However, the two variations sold out instantly after fans had to wait in a virtual line for hours. Today Build-A-Bear announced that restock is on the way and more villagers will be added in the future.
While no specific name was dropped, Build-A-Bear said that one additional character will be introduced this summer. If the popularity is any indication we may be seeing more and more villagers joining the Build-A-Bear family!
If you are interested you can already sign-up to be notified when more villagers will be added and when Isabelle and Tom Nook come back into stock right here in the official Build-A-Bear shop!
The music heard in any Animal Crossing games released so far has always played a substantial role in creating the cozy and loving atmosphere we love so much in the games.
It comes at no surprise that Nintendo is now releasing the Animal Crossing New Horizons Soundtrack edition featuring every single song from the game packed on seven CDs.
The collection comes with plenty of songs so you can open your own Club LOL within the coziness of your home, it also features a few items to make the collection even sweeter.
The New Horizons Soundtrack bundled also includes an earphone case and a Totakeke Jacket Artwork. While no pictures available yet, every piece of merchandise released by Nintendo featured adorable artowork from the game without doubt this wont’t be any different.
The soundtrack is currently only available in Japan but some online stores in the west have already started accepting pre-orders for the limited edition. You can place your pre-order for the collection right here.
According to many outlets the Sanrio Amiibo reprint will be in limited quantity and pre-orderes have sold out in many online retailers across the world.
This weeks Target Ad features the highly anticipated collection but the retailer also announced that quantity will be limited. In addition to the small stock every store will be receiving, you are also required to place your order online for pickup in your local store.
This is a common procedure for items that are in high demand such as recent console releases for Sony’s PlayStation 5.
To make sure you can secure your Amiibo Pack make sure to check your local Target store inventory Online the evening before the official launch date of March 26th. You will be able to reserve your item for next day pickup.
Since March 18th you can use these cards to summon villagers and even complete furniture sets! Once you are in possession of the cards you will be able to scan them using the Nook Terminal to get the items you desire.
The re-print of the Sanrio Amiibo Collection will hit stores on March 26th.
Nintendo also released a video showcasing every single item and villagers you will be able to scan right into your game using the Amiibo cards, if you want to indulge in some eye candy, head over here.
Nintendo finally lifted the curtain on the next major update coming to Animal Crossing New Horizons. The free update will bring back the upcoming Bunny Day event with new items to collect. In addition the big N also announced a wave of new seasonal items that we can soon get from the Nook Shopping App.
To celebrate the silliest holiday of the year we will be able to get a Whoopie Cushion which you can buy beginning March 26th and it will leave the store on April 1st. If you are a kid at heart you might find some joy in this item. I sure will.
Prom Night is a relatively new addition to the Animal Crossing franchise. During the month of April you will be able to get the Prom Night Wall, Prom Night Flooring, and Prom Sash from the Nook Shopping App – time to celebrate!
One of my personal favorites is the item we will be getting celebrating the Tree Planting Day which is a Korean holiday. From April 1st to April 10th you will be able to grab the tiny potted tree called a Forsythia to celebrate the Korean holiday.
To celebrate this years Nature Day you may also grab this cute looking Globe which is a perfect addition for any Library or cozy office setting.
Last but not least, Nintendo sure has not forgotten that New Horizons first birthday is coming up. To celebrate the occasion we will be getting an Animal Crossing themed cake.
The next update will go live on March 18th worldwide and will introduce more custom pattern slots, the much anticipated Sanrio collection and more.
If you love to design patterns or simply love to enjoy the work of others it has been pretty restricting in the past to store custom design patterns without ever having to overwrite older designs.
The next spring update coming to Animal Crossing New Horizons will enhance this particular situation by adding a whooping 50 more slots for you to store custom design patterns. This will make it a lot easier to create unique landscapes, clothing and more! After all, fans have been asking for this feature since the release of New Horizons.
In addition players will now be able to customize even more items umbrellas, small flags and photo stands.
Another new addition will be the able sisters app for your Nook phone. This will allow you to upload and/or download custom deign patterns from anywhere on your island, no need to pay the Able Sisters an actual visit to conduct your design business, handy!
Nintendo also announced that Zipper will be making a return for New Horizons second Bunny Day. We will be able to collect a bunch of eggs (again) found over all the island and perhaps also from balloons. These eggs can be used to craft egg themed items. There may be a chance we will be getting new items to craft this year around.
Nintendo announced that this update will go live on March 18th, this is also when you can start summoning the Sanrio collection including Hello Kitty.
Prior to the release of Animal Crossing New Horizons, Nintendo revealed that all holiday events would require an updated to be downloaded in order to unlock certain events.
Bunny Day already took place in New Horizons in 2020 and therefore should still be available to replay. However, if you choose to time travel ahead to experience Bunny Day this year you may disappointed there is no such event currently in the code of the game.
This means that in order to experience this years Bunny Day we will need to wait for Nintendo to release an update that will add the pastel colored holiday back to the game. Perhaps it may be in the next update introducing Hello Kitty within the Sanrio collection.
This had made dataminers and fans curious about what Nintendo might be planning. In recent Animal Crossing mainline games, events were always the same with each holiday being the exact same and offering the exact same items.
Pocket Camp the mobile spinoff has changed things up a bit by introducing new furniture collections and other items to be collected from each years holiday event. For example the Bunny Day in the mobile game offered different items year over year.
Rumors have it that New Horizons will adapt a similar system where each holiday going forward will have something new to offer instead of the repetition of the same rewards. Given the success of the game it would almost be a disappointment to go into the next event and not be able to expect anything new.
We will have to wait until Nintendo makes an official announcement to find out what this years Bunny Day has to offer.
Animal Crossing New Horizons Bunny Day will take place on April 12th, if you want to learn more about Bunny Day, find out what items you can get, take a peak at everything you need to know about the springy holiday.
Animal Crossing has recently seen a big wave of merchandise featuring the cute villagers from the game. The latest addition to it is the Starry Sky collection that includes a bunch of new items.
Given the name you can only imagine the stars that are displayed on every piece of the lineup. Blathers and Celeste are the focus of the collection.
The Starry Sky Line includes a Mini Controller, Hybrid Pouch, a Storage Bag, Hand Pouch and even a Play Stand. All items included are officially licensed by Nintendo as well.
If you enjoy taking your precious Nintendo Switch on the go then this set might be a good fit for you since it protects everything you need to bring with you and the travel sized controller is perfect for an on the go multiplayer match as well.
The collection is currently only available in Japan but you can easily import the items through trusted sellers like Amazon Asia who is already accepting pre-orders with a release date in late April.

Buil-A-Bear finally and officially announced a collaboration with Animal Crossing and its getting yet another restock, you can already sign-up for the upcoming release right here.
