[dropcap]N[/dropcap]atsume has announced the various titles that they will be talking about at E3. The titles are Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, River City: Knights of Justice, River City: Rival Showdown, Wild Guns Reloaded, and Harvest Moon: Lil’ Farmers.

Here are the full details about their lineup per game below:

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope (Switch, Steam/PC and PlayStation 4)

In Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, players begin the game as they set out looking for a fresh start and new surroundings. During their voyage, their ship is hit by a monsoon and goes down. As they drift into a small harbor town, now in a shambles from the storm, it will be up to the player to help rebuild the town and save the lighthouse…but it won’t be easy! Nevertheless, with some hard work growing crops, tending livestock, and gathering materials for repairs, players will be able to make new friends, start a family, revive the lighthouse, and save the town!

    Wild Guns Reloaded (Steam/PC)

In Wild Guns Reloaded, Annie has tracked down the famed bounty hunter Clint to get revenge on the Kid Gang. With eight stages, each with three zones, there’s plenty of bad robots to blast away. With a true arcade game feel, Wild Guns was the first sci-fi western to arrive on home consoles, and to this day, there really isn’t any other game like Wild Guns!

River City: Knights of Justice (3DS)

River City: Knights of Justice, known in Japan as Nekketsu Mahou Monogatari, is scheduled to launch as a 3DS eShop exclusive this summer. Kunio and his friends go medieval in this unique entry to the River City series, as they are transformed into heroes and villains that would be home in any RPG! Players will use swords, staves, and even magic to bring peace back to Riverandia!

    River City: Rival Showdown (3DS)

River City: Rival Showdown, known in Japan as Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari SP, will launch this fall for the Nintendo 3DS. One night, Kunio is attacked by two mysterious individuals. On top of that, Riki’s girlfriend has disappeared, and it’s up to Kunio to find out the truth! Kunio has just 3 days to unravel the mystery, and he’ll need your help to take down all who stand in his way! Take on some familiar faces from the River City games and meet new ones in this fast-paced beat-’em-up RPG.

Harvest Moon: Lil’ Farmers (iOS, Android, Kindle)

Natsume’s European publishing partner, Rising Star Games, will be showing titles in the booth as well, including Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, Harvest Moon Lil’ Farmers (iOS, Android, Kindle), and the European version of Harvest Moon: Skytree Village.

As part of the year-long 20th anniversary celebration, Natsume has also unveiled the re-release of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life Special Edition, Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland for the PlayStation 4, both of which will be available to play at the show.

[dropcap]N[/dropcap]iantic has seen a lot of success with Pokemon Go. The game is nearing it’s one year anniversary on July 6th. With the Rock event long ended, Niantic has seen the time to be ripe for some new events to kick off the summer.

According to a post from Team Eevolution, the new Fire and Ice events start next week on June 13th and ends on June 20th. During this time, the spawn rate for Fire and Ice type Pokemon will increase.

    https://twitter.com/TeamEevolution/status/871315847855448065?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fgamerant.com%2Fpokemon-go-fire-ice-event-leak%2F

In addition to Fire and Ice types being more prevalent, the event also teases that rare Lapras and Cloyster Pokemon might be found a little easier as well. All lucky eggs will be 50% cheaper as well for those who want a quick XP boost.

Niantic has also been hinting about legendary Pokemon appearing this summer. Time will tell when trainers first get the chance to catch an elusive legendary.

[dropcap]M[/dropcap]ost games have you murdering endless hordes of enemies but not Serial Cleaner! Serial Cleaner is a game where you clean up after the guy that slaughtered all the monsters. The game is currently available on Steam Early Access and will be coming to Xbox One and PS4.

Serial Cleaner’s story mode will encompass a 20 level campaign that oddly enough takes inspiration from real life crimes scenes in the 1970’s. According to a spokesperson for the game, the levels will include “a boxing gym, a disco club, a roadside motel, a sleazy bar, or the rooftops of downtown blocks”. The game will also include challenge modes to increase the game’s difficulty.

What is interesting about the challenge modes is that some of the challenges can only be played at a certain time of the day. “Some of the challenges can be only played at night, because Serial Cleaner implements real-world data. That means that if you play our game on any platform at night, and you’re connected to the Internet, it’s also night in the game! And that influences the gameplay.”

Here is the newest trailer about Challenge Modes and the Story

[dropcap]S[/dropcap]ony released a firmware update for the playstation today. The company’s official patch notes do not indicate any major changes but you might notice that a few of the Playstation App icons have a new look.

According to Sony, here are the two main “features” of the firmware update:

    • -In tournaments, you can now view match results for each player.
    • -This system software update improves system performance.

What Sony did not mention however is that the icons for Playstation store, Playstation Vue, and Playstation Now have been changed. All of the icons have a flat design instead of the 3D design that was present before. Sony also incorporated a flatter, more sharper design for the Playstation Plus symbol.

It is important to note that in the last patch (4.55) which was released seven weeks ago also mentioned that it “improved system performance”. The last major firmware update was back in March which included the ability to connect external USB  hard drives and enable Boost Mode for the PS4 Pro.
