[dropcap]T[/dropcap]oday, the first official announcement trailer was released for Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. The game has had multiple unconfirmed leaks since May. However, we finally get to see how the game works and what combat looks like.

The mashup title is described to being a tactical turn based game similar to XCOM. You can hide behind walls and smash the wall your enemy is hiding in to make them vulnerable. You have limited space to move but by jumping on your characters, you can move farther.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]oday at E3, Ubisoft announced a new title named Skull and Bones. Skull and Bones will be a pirate based game that builds upon Black Flag‘s Naval Combat. It is scheduled to release Fall of 2018 on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.

The game is developed by Ubisoft Singapore. The naval open world game takes place in a shared world where you can play solo or with friends.

In the gameplay trailer above, Ubisoft showed off the variety of ships that will be available to the player. The range is from cannon heavy ships to quick, lighter ships. Size and Armaments combined with the nature of the ocean and wind will determine how to approach the various scenarios of combat that the player will face.

The Multiplayer Mode Loot Hunt pits two teams of 5 ships against each other in a race to find treasure. The players compete to take in Gold and to stay afloat.

Players can stay at a distance and launch volleys of cannonballs and mortars or close the distance to board ships and ram them.

The game looks to be perfect for anyone who’s a fan of Black Flag‘s Naval Combat or a fan of all things pirate.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]oday at Microsoft’s E3, we got a release for MDHR’s Cuphead. Cuphead is due to release September 29th on Xbox One and Windows 10. Cuphead takes inspiration from the old school animation studios such as Disney, Van Beuren, and the like.

It was originally unveiled at E3 2014 and was expected to release in 2016. The release was pushed back to this year due to the growing size of the game. The game is a platformer with an emphasis on each boss you face.

In the game you play as either Cuphead or Mugman, with both single player and local-cop available, exploring Cuphead’s world in search of weapons, special abilities, and hidden unlockables in order to defeat a crazy number of brutal bosses.

MDHR also revealed during the conference that the game will be part of Microsoft’s Play Anywhere program, meaning it can be bought on either Windows 10 or Xbox One and be played across both platforms.
