Nintendo has just released a trailer for a short-but-sweet new Kirby game coming very soon. Kirby’s Dream Buffet is a colorful racing obstacle course multiplayer game like Fall Guys but all food/desert-themed. Yum!
What we know so far is 1-4 players can roll around in sets of 4 matches with a final round being “a fruity fight atop a floating platform.” It does not specifically say whether the multiplayer is only online or if it’s local. However, the disclaimer at the bottom of the game listing saying “sold separately” has me thinking it’s the former.
While dodging things like giant ice-cream cones, gaining speed and power-ups, etc, you’ll also have to collect strawberries along the way. Reaching the end of the levels will tally up and reward the tubbiest Kirby and its adorable. The trailer below shows that there are Waddle-Dees in the race but they look like they’re only NPCs and not playable characters.
Kirby’s Dream Buffet will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch as an eShop exclusive (digital only) this Summer 2022.
Cleaning has never been so adorable! ThinkGeek.com posted on April 1st, 2019 their brand new Kirby Robot Vacuum. This vacuum features an adorable Kirby that will help suck down all your home’s messes.
When docked at it’s station, the Kirby Vacuum will sleep soundly as it recharges for it’s next cleaning adventure. Once you tell Kirby to start cleaning, he will start to inhale and suck down all of the mess! When it’s full, Kirby will sit there all bloated-like letting you know that he needs to be emptied.
The retailer prices this adorable Kirby for $299.99 – but there’s a catch:
This product isn’t actually real. This is just one of Thinkgeek’s April Fool’s products!
Disappointed with the fact that this isn’t real, I guess we will just have to wait for an actual Kirby vacuum. In the mean time we can join Kirby in his dream land and dream about the vacuum that could’ve been.
Happy April Fool’s Day and Happy Gaming!
These two cool classics cruise on over and fit right in to the already impressive line-up offered through Nintendo Switch online. NSO currently offers over 30 games, and counting, and is available for as little as 3.99 per month or about twenty dollars annually.
