This previously unnamed dinosaur game got my attention when I saw Jordan’s several concept drawings on Twitter. The adorable art-style and the friendly nature of these reptilian cuties made me want to find out more! Italic Pig, Northern Ireland’s game development studio, has just announced their partnership with publishers The Irregular Corporation, and Northern Ireland Screen. This is great news for this simulation game, now officially called Paleo Pines. Italic Pig has increased the size of their team and are currently working toward a 2021 release date!

    About Paleo Pines

Paleo Pines is a casual social/management sim where players can become dinosaur ranchers. In a wholesome, friendly environment, dozens of dinosaur species are befriended, cared for and ridden into the wild to search for more and expand the ranch. The game takes inspiration from the relaxing, nurturing gameplay of titles such as Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon, and mixes it with the insanely popular collect-them-all compulsion of Pokemon. Players can tame and care for their new friends, befriend townsfolk, plant gardens, and encounter amazing creatures.

Sky: Children of the Light was one of our favorite E3 Hidden Gems this year. The indie adventure game is out now on iOS! It is developed and published by thatgamecompany, known for games like the popular Journey.

    About the Game:

In Sky, the kingdom used to have skies full of stars and constellations. You wake up as a Child of Light. It’s up to you to find and restore the fallen stars. This is no easy task, though, and you’ll need to team up with other players.

The developers describe the game as a “social adventure.” The intention of playing with others is to share heartfelt moments with them. Along with completing the game, you can also just socialize. There’s a big focus on friendship.

You can collect musical instruments and find special music sheets. You can also collect items to customize your character. There will be seasonal events and items. There are also plans to make more chapters (games) for the world of Sky.

    Game Features:

    • Enjoy 7 realms to explore and journey through
    • Team up & socialize with other players
    • Customize your character with an array of items
    • Find & gift candles to show appreciation and build friendships
    • Enjoy changing seasons with new events & items
    • Find instruments & create harmonies

    Watch the trailer:

The world of Sky is chocked full of detail. For help getting started, there’s a helpful guide on the games’ website! If you don’t have an iOS device, you can pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store. It’s also being developed for other platforms and consoles!

If you’re interested in the social aspect of this game, Kind Words might be for you. For lovers of emotional adventures, we suggest Nanokin.

Spaceline Crew is developed by Coffeenauts, an indie studio based in Brazil. The game has already won them awards from Big Festival and Game Connection for Best Multiplayer and Best Casual Game. They are currently in their late alpha stage for PC and Mac with the intention of also releasing the game on Steam, Xbox One, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch. See below for everything we know about Spaceline Crew so far.

Cross the galaxy with your friends as flight attendants of commercial spaceships and try to handle asteroids, decompression, puking in zero G, and super demanding alien passengers! In space no one can hear you complain about overbooking…

Setting the Scene for Spaceline Crew…

Space, the final frontier, where brave heroes go on fantastic journeys and intrepid explorers discover new worlds, however, somebody needs to serve the drinks. In this retro sci-fi universe, commercial space travel is commonplace, aliens and humans coexist, but underpaid jobs are still a thing. In Spaceline Crew, you and your friends will play as team of flight attendants whose job is to take wacky alien passengers safely to their destinations. Will they be able to please these demanding customers while at the same time avoiding black holes and distracting the space health inspection?

Spaceline Crew is a Party Game About Airlines in Space!

Up to 4 players take the roles of flight attendants who must cooperate in order to take weird alien passengers safely to their planets. Create your spaceline, buy ships and upgrades, fly your ship through hazardous space, handle system malfunctions, clean alien vomit in zero-g and much more! Can you become a top-class spaceline without being shut down by the fearsome space health inspection?

Spaceline Crew is the first non-violent, rogue-like party game. It combines the procedural events and organic progression of games like FTL; the short sessions, easy-to-learn controls and fast-paced co-op mechanics of games like Overcooked; and the AI NPCs of games like Theme Hospital.

    Key Features:

    • 4-player co-op mayhem!
    • Procedural levels and events!
    • Manage hungry, nauseous, drunk, bored aliens!
    • Avoid the space health inspector!
    • Choose your ship and go!
    • Unlock unique themed spaceships!
    • Upgrade your ship at spaceports!
    • Become your ship’s ace pilot…but don’t make it the vomit comet!
    • Master your ship’s systems!
    • Transport passengers and make money!
    • Original retro soundtrack!
    • Universal mouse/keyboard and controller support!

You can follow Spaceline Crew on Facebook here and find out what the team of Coffeenauts is up to!
