Shortly after posting the review, I noticed bugs being fixed more and more. On 4/3, I noticed there was a question mark tamagotchi icon in the collection book. Had it always been there? Does this foreshadow a big update to the amount of tamagotchi the game contains? Yes, actually! The morning of 4/4, Bandai Namco released a major update to the game including ways to play with friends, more tamagotchi to collect, and more! The time has never been better to play. We will keep you updated as the game progresses.

For more information on the Tamagotchi Forever check out our review here. There is also a fun gameplay trailer you should not miss over here.

Windscape, a game that released on Steam back in September of 2016, seems to have plans for releases on other platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. A section of Headup Games’ website makes this a lot more likely. Windscape was originally going to release on the Wii U in 2016 but that version still hasn’t released and at this point, it probably won’t. This title seems perfect for the Nintendo Switch though!

In Windscape, you play as a girl living on a farm with your parents. The world of Windscape is made up of floating islands and eventually, you find out that these islands are breaking apart and falling from the sky. It’s your job to find out what is causing these things to happen and to hopefully put it to an end.

    Main Windscape Features:

Exploring – Windscape has a very simplistic but beautiful art style. Explore through the world taking on quests from different characters you come across, gather resources, and fight enemies in your way.

Crafting – Gathering resources is important because they can be used for crafting. There’s many crafting stations in key places of the world. You can cook different meals, create potions, make weapons, and more!

Dungeons – You’ll find some dungeons while playing through Windscape. Some are meant more for exploring and some are more connected with the story. One things for sure, you’ll be running into some challenging boss battles too.

If you want to try out Windscape, you can buy it on Steam for $16.99. To get a good look at Windscape, you can watch the trailer below. For some more interesting upcoming Switch games – the creator of Harvest Moon announced that he’ll be working on a new game called Little Dragons Cafe. Also, check out Kynseed, a sandbox RPG.

For more Switch news head over here to celebrate the consoles first anniversary, and see why it’s time for Smash Bros Switch now. And make sure you don’t miss out on Spellbound –  Chucklefish’s ( Stardew Valley’s publisher ) next game, that might come to Nintendo Switch.

    About Windscape

In Windscape you play as a young girl living on your parents’ farm, set in a lovely world made up of floating islands in the sky. As you discover the world you learn that something has gone terribly wrong – islands are breaking apart and falling from the sky! It’s up to you to discover the evil that is threatening the universe of Windscape.

As you travel the world(s) you will gather valuable resources allowing you to craft a plethora of items such as weapons, shields, potions, magical spells and much more. Some items will be just for fun while others are a necessity for your survival.

You will meet peaceful NPCs and vicious monsters both on the surface of each island as well as in the dungeons and lairs you uncover along your journey. While I want the islands to work in a non-linear manner, I have decided to make the dungeons more puzzle and combat driven – each with its own style and atmosphere.
Windscape will feature tactical fights against larger bosses such as ghosts, ogres and dragons. Of course, there are many valuable items to loot too.

What I don’t want Windscape to be? A stats-driven RPG, a terraforming sandbox game or a first-person action game. This is why I am asking for your support. I’m building this game for the community and hopefully with the community. I feel your feedback is really needed to match my vision with the high standards you, the players, demand. Because of this I have chosen to go into Early Access, hoping to make great friends and build a community which shares my vision and aids me on my development quest…

[dropcap]M[/dropcap]ineko’s Night Market is a cute cat-themed upcoming game for PC by Meowza games. You play as Mineko, a girl who has just moved to a superstitious island overrun with cats. The aim of the game is to find materials, craft items and sell them at the Night Market. You can befriend villagers, fish, undertake quests, play mini-games, plus more! The game is expected to be released late 2018.

Meowza games have recently posted some Twitter updates regarding whats new in the game’s development. New features include more resources, character development, friendships and mini-game development. For even more on the cat loving game, check out this exclusive interview with Mineko’s Night Market creator Brent.

    Resources

There is now a larger variety of fish to catch, gems to mine and flowers to pick. Even better, they change with the seasons!

    Crafting

Crafting will now involve playing mini-games. Different crafts such as sewing, pottery and woodwork (plus more) have their own unique mini-games.

    Bartering

Nearly everything found or made, can be sold at the Night Market. However, you won’t make a lot of money until you have become relatively good friends with villagers.

    Friends

Villagers now have unique schedules, phrases and favourite things. You can befriend villagers by choosing gifts you think they’ll appreciate.

    Collectibles

More super cute collectibles have been added, which include Boximals (the latest craze), which you can either gift to other villagers, or add to your own collection.

    The Night Market

The Night Market looks very sorry for itself at the beginning of the game. However, buying and selling, plus doing well at market events, can improve the ‘health’ of your market.

    Cats!

Finally, more cats have been added. Yay for more kitties!

[dropcap]H[/dropcap]umble Bundle is publishing a super adorable cat game called Mineko’s Night Market.  The studio developing the game is called Meowza Games.  The game is due to release in 2018.

Mineko’s Night Market is the first title from the young, two-person indie studio. The adventure title stars Mineko, a girl who takes on a job as a vendor in a weekly marketplace.  The game includes taking on  responsibilities ranging from collecting resources, crafting items to sell, participating in local events and befriending customers around town. The game seems similar to Stardew Valley in this respect.

One of the most interesting features of the game is that the setting comes from a real word place that is known to be beloved by cat lovers.  Tashirojima is a Japanese island that’s home to more cats than human beings — much like the world of Mineko’s Night Market, which takes place on a cat-worshipping Japanese isle called Mount Fugu. The biggest difference between the two places is that in Mineko’s world, there are still plenty of humans to hang out with but you still get to play with tons of kittens.

The game is heading to Mac and Windows PC sometime next year, and it won’t be exclusive to the Humble Bundle Store.

Read our exclusive interview with the developer behind Mineko’s Night Market right here. Check out the cute trailer that was released below:
