[dropcap]Z[/dropcap]elda: Breath of the Wild was a major breakthrough in the franchise. It was the first open world game in the series, with an endless amount of exploration. Open world video games like the latest Zelda have only appeared on PC, Playstation 4 or Xbox One until now, it was the first time a game this size made it onto a Nintendo Console.

Aonuma the producer of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has stated in a recent interview with Famitsu, that future games in the world of Zelda will all feature open world gameplay. It will be interesting to see on how Zelda will evolve from here. Before the game was released on the Nintendo Switch, Aonuma also hinted at an upcoming Zelda designed as an Open World Multiplayer game. Taking the games huge open world online, would be the next major step forward in the franchise. It would follow games like Skyrim, which will be coming to Nintendo Switch in fall of 2017, and will bring it’s massive world to Nintendos new Hybrid console.

“The two-player functionality of Hyrule Warriors is actually something that has traditionally been done in the Dynasty Warriors series, but they’ve changed because of the hardware and the second screen on your GamePad. Instead of having a splitscreen on the television, you have one-player playing on the television and one on the GamePad. When I was talking back about making Zelda more than just a single-player experience? That’s something you will see in the future, maybe next year.” – Aonuma

Zelda has rarely explored multiplayer options in the past. Zelda: Triforce Heroes on Nintendo 3SDS was one of the only major titles based on multiplayer. It was received with average reviews, however, playing the dungeons and solving the puzzles with friends was considerably fun and very well well designed. Zelda might not start competing with Online multiplayer games like Elder Scrolls Online or World of Warcraft anytime soon, but perhaps it can provide ways to invite selected friends into your very own Zelda Universe. Would you enjoy an Open World Multiplayer Game set in the Zelda Universe? Let us know in the comments below.

[dropcap]Z[/dropcap]elda: Breath of the Wild is one of those few Video Games that players push to it’s limits, just to see what is possible and what isn’t. We have seen the boulder challenge go viral over the last few days. Today Youtuber mety333 shred his incredible video of his unique invention in Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Nintendo Switch.

Mety333 has used a metal box to place it on top of a mine cart, then with the power of Magnesis, he was able to fly his invention with Link on top across the map. While flying across the world, he also reached the highest point possible. If you want to see the amazing journey by yourself you can watch his video below.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Nintendo Switch is on the market for about one month now, except some players reporting issues with the left joy-con, which has since been fixed, the console had a rather smooth start. Most new electronics hitting the market have to battle some criticism and problems one way or another. This week the Nintendo Switch is accused or warping when placed in the dock. Nintendos hybrid console can generate a good amount of heat, especially when playing a graphic heavy video game like Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

    Nintendo Switch Warping Bending

When playing in handheld mode the air can be pushed out the vents on the back easily, in dock mode however, this can cause some problems, the heat can stay in place, and may have more difficulties leaving the console. Reddit user _NSR posted claims that this is when his console started bending – due to the heat melting and reshaping the plastic build of the Nintendo Switch. As of now there are no other reports of confirming this problem. Have you had any similar issues? let us know in the comments below.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Nintendo Switch is celebrating sales record after sales record. The first month of the consoles lifespan went rather smoothly, some joy-con issues, and other minor reports that are typical for a launch of new hardware. However, one thing many fans of the console complain about is how the save games are currently stored and handled.

The saves games are connected to your Nintendo Switch console,“On Nintendo Switch, game save data is stored on the console’s System Memory,” is what Nintendo states on it’s own website. Save games can not be transferred to a memory card, or your computer, in fact there is no way for you to access your own save games at this time. In most cases this works fine for many users. However, if you put 100+ hours into Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and your switch breaks down, you spill water on it, or any other reason your console stops working, you are at risk to also lose your save game. Other consoles like the Playstation 4 and Xbox One offer cloud saves, this means that no matter what happens to your console, your save games will be securely put away on Sonys or Microsoft servers, attached to your ID you signed up with.

On the Nintendo Switch, your only hope is to send the console in for repair and have Nintendo transfer over the save files, but this does not work in every case. A recent report emerged where a Switch owner had sent in a broken console for a repair, but Nintendo was unable to get the save games recovered. This meant that the player had lost all the save games on the console as he claimed on twitter below.

However, there might be a light at the end of the tunnel. Nintendos full and paid Online Services will start in Fall 2017, it is possible that cloud saves will be part of this service.

[dropcap]Z[/dropcap]elda: Breath of the Wild is the biggest game in the Zelda franchise since it’s beginning. An endless amount of content keeps players a month after the official release engaged. But even graphically it is one of the most advanced games Nintendo has ever made. A player has shared some interesting discovery. The rain and weather effects in the game actually have an influence on the terrain in the game. When it rains, it can create puddles that during sunny days slowly diminish again. You can see the screenshots below.

Let us know in the comments below what kind of surprises and secrets you have uncovered in Zelda: Breath of the Wild so far.
