It’s true that MyPotatoGames posted an article on things that fans would like to see in the game. However, some of these have now been fulfilled. Additionally, as a few months have passed, players have noticed more things that would make the gameplay experience more enjoyable. Whether it be slight glitches, some multiplayer issues, spontaneous travelling merchants, etc, there are definitely a few more features and improvements that players would like to see.
I took the effort to ask fans what features they would like and improvements that could be made. There’s no denying that the game is extraordinarily entertaining, but take notes Nintendo, as I received hundreds of responses. 😂 Here are some features that would improve Animal Crossing: New Horizons even further.
Nintendo did promised us at least three more years of updates coming to New Horizons so hopefully we will be seeing at least some of these features in the game one day!
Whilst it’s almost definite that not all of these features will be implemented, it would be fantastic if even a few of them were.
Please and thank you Nintendo 🙂

Wisp is a lamp spirit visiting NPC, who like other characters such as Gulliver, will appear randomly on your island. If you’ve not yet encountered him, here’s what happens if you meet Wisp In Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
In previous games in he franchise, Wisp could be found between midnight and 4am. In New Horizons however, he can be encountered at any point between 8pm and 4am. There is no set date or day that he will appear, and some players have reported seeing him more than once in a week. He tends to roam around forest areas, but can be found anywhere on your island.
Wisp isn’t really a character you can ‘talk’ to as such. In City Folk, he will mention that he is (ironically) scared of ghosts. Having been alone on your deserted island, if you interact with him he will become startled and his spirit will split. He will then ask for your help in collecting his five other floating spirit pieces from around your island.
These can be caught with a net, but will float around, making it someime hard to locate them all. They do make a floating noise, so be sure to have your volume turned up. Additionally, some users have reported that they often find a couple of the spirit pieces near the Residents Services area.
After you have located and caught all five pieces, you should return to Wisp in his diminished form.
He will be grateful and offer you a reward. Unlike removing weeds and roaches, like in some of the previous games, he will reward you with an item. You can choose between ‘Something Expensive’, and ‘Something New’. Whilst you may be tempted to go with the something expensive option, Wisp does warn that he has trouble discerning the value of items. So you could end up with a cardboard box. So it’s usually advisable to go for the ‘Something New’ item, as at least you won’t already own or have catalogued this item.
The same darn thing. He’ll still be spooked, despite knowing the island is now inhabited, the silly spirit. But then again, with the possibility of aliens, who wouldn’t be..
