The famous young detective is finally getting his very own video game after all these years.

The Adventures of Tintin is a European comic about a rambunctious reporter. The comic first saw the light of day back in 1907. Since creation, Tintin has gone on countless adventures in nearly every facet of media; comics, books, T.V., movies and radio.

Now, thanks to a partnership between Moulinsart (the comics current publisher) and Microids (publishers of Oddworld), Tintin will be getting his first video game. It’s is time for us all to get to take Snowy (Tintin’s dog) on whatever new and exciting adventures await.

In anticipation of the new game, the CEO of Microids, Stéphane Longeard, had this to say…

« We are extremely happy to work on this co-production! We have been willing to make this happen for quite some time. This announcement is the result of a creative process allowing us to define precisely how this project will take shape and the two companies will interact. This really is a dream come true for us. The adventures of Tintin transported millions of readers worldwide and this opportunity will allow us to put our talents at the service of one of the biggest creators of the 20^th century and its inked hero: Our team members are fans of the famous reporter and will do their best to pay this franchise a vibrant homage.
