Just yesterday I mentioned my current favorite most wholesome games for the Nintendo 3DS that also have free demos. Today My Nintendo offered a special deal on some of the most beloved games for the aged handheld console.

My Nintendo is a reward program where you can earn gold which can then be used towards game purchases to get discounts and sometimes even an entire game for free. In a recent Tweet from Mayor Mori, I learned that a new patent may bring item trades to AC: Pocket Camp.

That’s right! We may finally be able to share all of our awesome and seemingly endless goodies with our friends in Pocket Camp. Thanks to an in-depth video by Animal Crossing super-fan Mayor Mori, we can in a new patent by Nintendo that there a new trading system for items may be implemented soon.

Not only can this apply to items, but also to fortune cookies. Being able to buy fortune cookies and share them with other Pocket Campers is kinda what Animal Crossing is all about. Make your own zone, and help your friends make theirs.

Item and fortune cookie trading will help streamline the process, and make it that much easier to match your friends campsites. And being able to give away all your duplicates seems much more friendly than handing them over to Gully. Not them riches aren’t grand, and all that.

The news really comes as no surprise as Nintendo recently promised changes coming to Pocket Camp. This comes after the recent uproar regarding some new additions that Pocket Camp fans weren’t too keen on.

Yesterday on October 24th, Pocket Camp players logged in to a pleasant surprise. After an influx of spooky Halloween themed items, the newly added Pastel Glazier Cookie offered a breath of fresh air.

Based on Apple’s Glazier Cookie, the Pastel Glazier Cookie offers players the opportunity to obtain the following super cute items:

The stained-glass fountain is this fortune cookie’s spotlight item.

The following video showcases the items obtainable from the cookie:

As is the norm in Pocket Camp, this fortune cookie costs 50 Leaf Tickets to purchase, and players will receive a stamp for each cookie that they buy. Also, if players buy a 5 pack of cookies, they will receive a bonus stamp, meaning 6 stamps in total.

The Pastel Glazier Cookie will be available to buy until 5:59am on 01/22/2020.

Whilst Jack’s garden event has now concluded, the Halloween festivities in Pocket Camp are far from over!

As of today, for a limited time only, Jack’s Puppet Theater has been reissued for players to craft. If you craft the puppet theater and place it in your campsite, Jack, the Czar of Halloween, may even grace you with his presence!

This cute little Halloween-y item is craftable for 300 leaf Tickets until 01/11/19 at 05:59am.

Just look at those pumpkins go! Terrifying! ??

The wave of news for Animal Crossing New Horizons might have slowed down a little bit but as we are getting closer to the actual release date in March 2020, we are also beginning to see more details of the game emerging.

The Nintendo Live will take place on October 13th and October 14th and if you aren’t aware of this event, you can simply compare it to a Japanese version of the E3. Nintendo will hold several tournaments for Splatoon 2 and Smash Bros. Ultimate.

But what really caught my eye is that according to the official website, Nintendo will showcase Animal Crossing New Horizons as well. Only few details about this appearance have been announced, but the big N will be showing off some gameplay and possibly reveal some more details about the upcoming village simulation game. Lucky attenandas can even participate in a lottery where themed towels and other merchandise are being given out.

It will be interesting to see how much Nintendo will show, given that the company is currently busy promoting their big next title Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. Once these titles are released we will be sure to see a lot more focus on Animal Crossing New Horizons.

I will be sure to watch the Nintendo Live when it takes place on October 13th and October 14th, so make sure to check back for all the goodies Nintendo might reveal!

If you want to know what animals are confirmed to make a return in Animal Crossing New Horizons, head over here!

Halloween is one of my favorite seasons of the year, pretty much as much as any other season that lets me put up festive decorations. Nintendo kicked off the Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Halloween season with some adorable costumes.

The latest addition to Pocket Camp includes some super – not so spooky – Halloween costumes that you can grab from the shop now. Nintendo also recently invited Jack back in order to host the current garden event! If you haven’t stopped by to say Hi yet, make sure to load up Animal Crossing Pocket Camp and get your campsite looking spooky in anticipation of this years Halloween season!

If you haven’t heard yet, Nintendo also recently gifted 250 leaf tickets to all players as an apology for the recent changes Gulliver – the perfect amount to spend on some Halloween costumes and decor!
