The Nintendo Switch Lite has been out for a few days now, if you missed the news, you can caught up here. The updated console comes with a slightly smaller screen, attached Joy-Cons and a longer battery life. But just as important it also comes in 3 adorable colors and one special collection. FDG Entertainment, developer of games like Monster Boy have taken the opportunity to make something special.

The Switch Lites colorful appearance is now translating into the user interface of Monster Boy. The recent update to the game allows players to seamlessly change the color of the game to match the color of the Nintendo Switch Lite. Check out the colorful feature below.

You can download the 1.05 update for Monster Boy and the cursed kingdom for free now. Once you made the update you have the choice of the following colors: Yellow, Turquoise, Red, Pink, Grey and Green!

    That’s an interesting feature. I wonder if they’ll do it for future standard (not special edition) colors. Joy-Cons identify their color to the system, I wonder if the Lite does too.

      I agree! Interesting indeed, I was actually expecting Nintendo to have a custom home screen UI for these consoles. Every-time Apple introduces a new colored iPhone they at least provide a wallpaper in a matching color. I always thought that was fun, weird Nintendo didn’t add this simple yet fun addition.
