Animal Crossing New Horizons, if you believe or not, is only about two weeks away! Today Nintendo revealed the somewhat limited amount of characters you can use for your islands name.

If you are anything like me you may have been planning out your first few days in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Your town layout and the villagers you’d like to invite and share your island with and so on!

Your Island name has to be short

One of the first decisions you will have to make when playing New Horizons is deciding the name of your island. The big N just revealed that it will have to be 10 characters our less! This will limit things a bit in what you can choose for your getaway island.

If you already decided on a name and it exceeds ten character limit, you at least have some more time to rethink your islands name!
