House Builder is a first-person immersive sim where you become a one man construction crew who builds homes. Travel the world and through time to build different designs. Learn about new technologies as you progress. Use different techniques and tools as necessary to create a variety of beautiful homes across the world. Sometimes even demolishing things is necessary!

If you enjoy simulation games like Zoo Tycoon, where you have a hand in every aspect of things, House Builder is likely a great one for you. Take a hands-on approach as you process materials and use tools to build a mud hut in Africa, an igloo in the Arctic, a log cabin in Siberia, and many more. Each house consists of hundreds of elements you need to match to the design plans. As you progress through the game, and the ages, you’ll learn about different technologies that will help you build better homes. From materials, to structures, you’ll get the chance to use everything you learn. Use tools to craft the houses, and upgrade your skills to use better tools which will make building go faster. Build to your heart’s content with this beautiful sim.

Limited only by your imagination and bank budget, what will you create?

    Release Date

House Builder is available now on Steam. There is also a VR version if you really want to immerse yourself! Plus, you can find this game on PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch

I’m also excited for the upcoming Paralives game, where home building is available too!

Today, June 9th, 2022, is The Summer Game Fest’s big opening event! So from now until Monday, be prepared for a bombardment of articles by us with news on cute and wholesome games! Let’s start with how Triband, the developers that gave us the hilarious golf-but-not-really-golf sim WHAT THE GOLF, announced a new game! WHAT THE BAT will be another silly physics-based game but in VR (virtual reality).

There’s not much actual baseball involved with WHAT THE BAT, but you can use your baseball bat arms to, well, bat things. This means there will be 100 unique levels of batting, cooking, shooting, smashing, parking, painting, pickling, so on and so forth. Yes, you will also be able to pet the dog, although that makes me sort of nervous in this case.

Coming to Meta Quest 2 and Steam in 2022

You can Wishlist WHAT THE BAT on Steam here. However, don’t be too discouraged that it will only release for PC, as we know WHAT THE GOLF later came out for the Nintendo Switch.

Falcon Age is a first-person, single-player action adventure. Play as Ara and learn to hunt, gather, and fight to reclaim your cultural legacy in the lost art of falcon hunting. Fight against a force of automated colonizers. Bond with a baby falcon and go on an adventure on PlayStation 4 or immersive VR with PS VR.

The VR world has been quite a fickle being until recent times. Now, with so many great VR games on the table, its getting tougher to condemn this new way of gaming. Falcon Age is a perfect example of how far virtual reality gaming has come.

The game starts on a dying colony planet with its culture destroyed, resources depleted, and turned into a desert by machine invaders. Ara’s been wrongfully thrown in jail for a minor infraction. While she awaits her fate in a lonely cell, she passes the time by befriending a young falcon. Together they escape and set off on an adventure to help the resistance reclaim their freedom and drive off the invaders.

Falcon Age, created by Outerloop Games, is available now as of April 19th, 2019. For more information on the game, go to their official website here. Falcon Age will also be at this years Pax West as one of the many wonderful indie games, take a look at some of the most exciting games to be showcased at PAX West!
