Rune Factory 4 Special and Rune Factory 5 are heading to Nintendo Switch. One sooner than the other, but it doesn’t stop Marvelous, developer behind the game, to talk a little bit more about the Rune Factory 5 Release Date.

We already know that Rune Factory 4 Special will hit Nintendo Switch later this year. Not only will it bring the Newlywed Mode, but it will also feature enhanced graphics, making it the best version of itself yet. But fans are still eagerly waiting for the sequel of the popular game since Rune Factory 5 was announced a few months ago, back in February.

Marvelous has been very vague about the release date of the game, however in a recent interview a Marvelous representative stated “It’s a title we’ve never been able to make on time, but we’d like to be able to release it in the next term.” Marvelous hopes to release the game in the fiscal year 2020 that begins in April 2020.

We can’t wait to play the game, but given the complexity of Rune Factory games we also encourage Marvelous to take the time they need to create a worthy sequel to the beloved video game series.
