The Pokemon Company announced their most recent exclusive Galar Region Pokemon to Pokemon Sword and Shield coming to the Switch November 15th, 2019. The odd duck holding a leek of the first generation Pokemon that had no evolution, Farfetch’d (I mean really that name has an apostrophe), is finally getting its due! Behold the mighty Sirfetch’d: Type is Fighting and Ability is Steadfast.
His leek gets an upgrade too; it is now cut in half to make a sword with the stem and a shield with the leaves. This Pokemon is 100% ready for this upcoming game. This amazing news comes after the last Nintendo Direct we received including Pokemon Camp, cooking, and customization! I also have to mention that potato leek soup is the best soup ever! See below for more details on Sirfetch’d.
The Farfetch’d of the Galar region can evolve into Sirfetch’d after experiencing many battles. They are calm and collected, and they make a point of always battling fairly. They are so noble in battle that they are often chosen as a motif for paintings. Of particular note is a painting—famous in the Galar region—that depicts a duel between a Sirfetch’d and an Escavalier.
In battle, Sirfetch’d uses the sharp stalk of its leek as a lance and the thick leaves as a shield. It maintains this leek over the span of many years and treasures it more than anything. When its leek finally withers, Sirfetch’d will leave the battlefield and retire from battling entirely.
Meteor Assault is a new move introduced in these games that only Sirfetch’d can learn! Sirfetch’d points its leek at the opponent and charges toward them at great speed. This move is devastatingly powerful! However, it appears that the move also puts great strain on Sirfetch’d. It will be unable to take action immediately after using this move.

There have been plenty of awesome updates lately about what to expect from the next installment in the Pokemon series. The more recent introduction of some new Pokemon being among them. Now the Pokemon Company has given us much more details in regards to some of the new features that we will see in Pokemon Sword/Shield, including new characters and monsters with unique abilities.
Since always and forever, Pokemon have been super handy little creatures that have helped us accomplish wonders and achieve our grandest dreams. Now, our sometimes not-so-cuddly companions will have the ability to help us in new ways with Poke jobs. You will be able to task your calamitous critters with jobs from the Rotomi machine, a new device located throughout the the Galar region in all of the Pokemon Centers. These machines will not only give you access to the jobs (which will help you and your Pokemon grow), but you also be able to access your storage and even the Lotto-ID. Figuring out which Pokemon is best suited for each job will maximize the outcome of each task.
Pokemon have always been able to change form. Until now, those changes were pretty much exclusive to Evolution. The latest iteration in the Pokemon series introduces a new type of Pokemon that has the ability to change its form without evolution. The change can be effected by certain items (like evolution) but can also come from the creatures very own abilities. Not only can these changes alter the appearance of the monsters, but can also change their abilities and moves type. Morpeko is a new monster with the ability to change form. It is a ravenous little cutie that changes into meanie any time it gets too hungry, like most of us.
Some Pokemon in Sword/Shield will actually have forms that are specific to the region. Given that the game takes place in the Galar Region, these are obviously referred to as Galarian forms. These specific forms can not only be found just in Galar, but their evolutions can also only exist from the Galarian form of that Pokemon. Example: the new Obstagoon can only be obtained through the max evolution of the Galarian form of Zigzagoon. Otherwise, you will not be able to evolve past Linoone.
Some new bad guys will also be coming to the Pokemon universe, and they look pretty hardcore. They are called Team Yell, and they have absolutely no trouble announcing their intentions. They are the new baddies and are here to hinder you in any way possible, much like the ne’er-do-well’s of every other title in the series. Always putting up a lackluster front to keep you from reaching the opponents that actually matter, the Gym Leaders and other close heavy trainers.
These are just some of the juicy details that were recently released by the Pokemon Company. For everything you need to know about Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, be sure to check out the official Pokemon website.

The recent announcement of the new mobile Pokemon game, Pokemon Masters, has had us all wondering what the game might truly be like. The original trailer, while revealing, has left us wanting to know more. Well, now we do since DeNA has released another, more in-depth, trailer. Pokemon Masters is still set to be released sometime this summer, and will be released for Android and iOS devices.
The new trailer shows us a few of trainers that we will be able to play as, including Barry and Iris. The recently released video also shows just a bit of the 3 on 3 battling that we’ve heard so much about. A small display of the sync move is given, showing what looks like Pikachu getting all charged up (or using Thunder)! There is also just a flash of the new Unity moves, where you and your two trainer teammates join together for one majorly damaging attack. One thing is for sure, this trailer has once again sparked our interest in this soon-to-be-released epic mobile title.

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield will be released this year on November 15th, and you can find out plenty of information about it by clicking here. Right now, we would like to discuss the topic of the all new Pokemon that will be joining the adventure when the game drops. Each new Pokemon title tends to come with its own array of new monsters, and Sword & Shield are no different. We now have some pretty in-depth details about what these new monsters will really be like.
Having a name that is also a play on words is pretty much the basis for all Pokemon. Apparently a mix between alchemy and creme, we expect this ultra-cute creature will have some pretty tasty abilities. Alcremie totally has the ability to produce creme, which it can use in the pastry business, or to blind foes and bail. The creme is also super potent in its soothing affect, causing foes to lose the will to battle. That sure is some “heavy” creme. Alcremie will have a Gigantamax version, making it more powerful and even creamier!
Yamper is an adorable little pupper Pokemon with same tendencies as its real-life counterpart. Yamper is easily distracted and loves to chase everything that moves! Yampers ability is one that is new to the series. Ball Catch allows Yamper to catch a Pokeball that missed its target, as long as Yamper isn’t holding an item. Yamper also has the ability to create electricity as it moves, so he looks super charged up as he chases whatever is around.
Rolcoly is definitely one of the most useful rock Pokemon. It can easily guide the way through caves with the light that illuminates from its eye. The coal that its body produces is often used in helpful ways. Its new ability, Steam Engine, will drastically increase its speed if its attacked by a fire or water move. This is one stone cold Pokemon that every spelunker needs.
Duraludon is made of a very light alloy, which gives him the ability to move quickly and precisely. This alloy unfortunately does have the weakness of being extra susceptible to rust, however. Duraludon is a mountain dwelling creature, and uses its two unique arms to grind up mountains for food. Certainly a formidable foe that will be worth catching.

The recently announced Pokemon mobile game, Pokemon Masters, now has a detailed video giving all the information we need. This mobile version of the popular franchise is said to use a 3-on-3 trainer battle mode. You and two other master trainers from the previous Pokemon games will battle your best Pokemon against some of the greatest and most renowned trainers from all the games.
In Pokemon Masters, many trainers from all the regions of the previous games will meet on Pasio island to fit to be the best. The core of the game will focus on the relationships that you develop with the other trainers on the island. As you progress and meet more trainers, you will team up with them to form powerful alliances. You will also create a special bond with your companion Pokemon, and meet other trainers that have created special bonds with their companions as well. This feature is being Pokemon Sync Pair Battles.
Once you have synced up with your companion and created a team, you may then partake in big battles. This will be a 3-on-3 battle that takes place in real time. You must fight with your team to the best of your abilities to eventually be a part of The Pokemon League Championship. This is the ultimate goal in Pokemon Masters, just like in all the games preceding it.

Town is a super cute looking RPG game being made by the creators of the best Pokemon games, Game Freak. Game Freak is not only responsible for making the best classic Pokemon games, like Red and Blue, but also the soon-to-be-released Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. They created many games outside the Pokemon franchise however, like HarmoKnight and Drill Dozer. Now, they are working very hard on creating Town, an action RPG that takes place only in a single town.
Town was revealed last year in September’s Nintendo Direct. We got to see a reveal trailer which showed just enough information to get everyone excited, but not quite enough to satiate our curiosity. It is shown that you will get to play as a cute hero who must save his village from an invasion of monsters.
The action in the game is experienced through turn-based battle. You will also be able to summon the help of other villages during battle to aid in defeating the larger enemies. Town is still a working title, and is set to be released sometime this year. Recently, an image was leaked on Reddit that gives us a closer look at what the battle sequences might actually look like.
