Splatoon 2 has been out for more than 1 year now, but the big N is still updating the game with more new content, such as the most recent 3.0 Update. To win even more hearts, Nintendo just released the Splatoon 2 Demo for free on the Nintendo Switch e-shop, and it comes packed with goodies and discounts!

The Splatoon 2 Demo is now available for a free download, but there is a small catch. The demo will only be available until March 25th, so if you want to go ahead and give it a try you are best advised to do it soon.

A Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required to enjoy the many online features of Splatoon 2, but luckily Nintendo was generous enough to give every player downloading the game a free 7 days trial of Nintendo Switch Online.

The demo has some limitation but the most popular modes will be included. Players will be will able to hop into a 4 on 4 Turf War Battle, League Battles, Salmon Run as well as the popular Ranked Battle mode. These can be played with your friends online, and or other players you have never met before, fun! Splatoon 2 has been immensely popular the demo is a great way to test it out for yourself!

Furthermore, the company will also offer a discount to everyone who enjoys the Splatoon 2 Demo so much they decide to buy it. If you choose to purchase the game at the end of the trial version, a 20% discount will be applied to all North American players, or 33% for players in Europe. You will need to purchase the full game during the trial period which ends on March 25th.
