Jan 31, 2020Nintendo just announced an adorable Animal Crossing New Horizons Nintendo Switch Edition. Many fans were wondering if the new Joy-Cons and Dock would be sold separately, the answer is, Yes! With a catch.
The new Nintendo Switch Aloha Edition as Nintendo calls it will feature some brand new Joy-Cons as well as an adorable new Dock featuring Timmy and Tommy and Tom Nook.
The pastel color palette gives it the perfect Animal Crossing vibe. However some fans may have just received a new Nintendo Switch for Christmas or already own the console and don’t plan to replace it anytime soon. Nintendo thought of this and will offer the Joy-Cons and the Dock separately.
Availability
Both the Animal Crossing Joy-Con controller as well as the Dock are currently only being offered separately in Japan. You will be able to order these through import stores such as Play-Asia. I would not be surprised if they will end up being sold by itself in the US and Europe later on as well – we will have to wait and see!
