Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Subscription Plays The Game For You

A few days ago Nintendo revealed that a subscription model would be coming to Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. Today we received all the details about the new feature!

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp fans have been skeptical about the latest addition to the game. The subscription model asks for you to pay a monthly fee – not bells but real dollars in order for it to play the game for you? Yeah, that’s right.

Happy Helper Plan

The Happy Helper Plan, as Nintendo calls it will allow you to designate your favorite animal to be your caretaker and essentially play the game for you. Your “caretaker” will fulfill animal request on your behalf and even help with the events, one could argue it takes away the only real few fun parts left in the game. This plan starts at $2.99.

Cookie & Depot Plan

The second subscription plan Nintendo offers will grant you access to a members-only Cookie Shop where you are free to choose any five fortune cookies per month. Nintendo did not reveal if these cookies will also be available in the regular cookie shop. The Cookie & Depot Plan also lets players store up to 5,000 items in a remote warehouse. This second and last plan costs $7.99 per month.

I wouldn’t say it plays the game for you. So far my camp helper has only completed requests for animals at my campsite, not regular requests, and she hasn’t done the events for me, she’s just added to what I’ve already collected

Interesting Emily. Thats good to hear. I feel like it takes away a big chunk of the gameplay. I enjoy “grinding” an animal crossing game to collect what you need to advance and complete your current task, why pay to get my daily chores done if I enjoy them and if Nintendo thinks this is not delivering a fun gaming experience then what else is left?
