[dropcap]A[/dropcap]nimal Crossing is meant to be played for months, if not years. Even after the release in 2012 Animal Crossing New Leaf still has many thousand players checking in on their village every day. Now a Twitch user name Coldeggman has managed to complete the original game in an Animal Crossing Speed run on GameCube within less than 1 day.

Animal Crossing does not really have an end, or clear goals for that matter. Completing in this case means, Coldeggman has found all bugs, fossils, fish and donated all items to the museum. He has also managed to complete all possible upgrades for Tom Nooks store. This was all done and completed within exactly 22 hour and 49 minutes.
