SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated gets special editions with some cool collectables.
Spongebob Squarepants is just too cute and funny not to like. The Spongebob games are always a silly way to relax, enjoy and delve into the whole Spongebob universe. Now, the remake of Battle for Bikini Bottom is getting a couple special editions with some awesome goodies that no hardcore Spongebob fan should do without.
The two collectors editions are call the “F.U.N. Edition” and the “Shiny Edition”. They both come with collectable statues, as well as other small Sponge themed items. However, it should be know that the price for these collectors editions is a bit steep, with “F.U.N.” sitting at $150, and “Shiny” resting at a cool $299.
If the F.U.N. Edition had a statue based on the F.U.N. episode, I would certainly be more inclined to buy. However, the collectable statues are based on the game, which makes sense ( I guess).

It’s time for more nautical nonsense under the sea with the remake of Battle for Bikini Bottom.
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? A hilarious yellow Porifera who partakes in endless whimsical journeys, that’s who. Staring in his very own T.V. show turned out to be not quite enough for the old Sponge. So he took to the gaming industry like a champ. Many Spongebob fans have enjoyed all the titles released featuring this iconic comedy genius. Now, one of these classics is getting a new coat of paint, and promises to be spongier than ever! That’s right, make way for Spongebob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated!
Battle for Bikini – Rehydrated is already wish-listable on Steam, and you can do so by clicking here. The original title was quite well received, and is considered by some to be one of the best Spongebob games ever. That is actually saying a lot, considering the amount of games that have revolved around this most absorbent of characters. This remake will include all the features from the original title, plus some things that were meant to be included in the earlier title, but were omitted for whatever reason.
In case you did not play Battle for Biniki Bottom, you should know that you will, of course, be able to play as Spongebob, as well as Patrick and Sandy. Each will have their own unique ability to help you stop Plankton from taking over Bikini Bottom with his army of robots! A classic Spongebob scenario that always ends the same way, with Plankton blasting off again back to the chum bucket, and to the drawing board. The remake will include better graphics, obviously, as well as a multiplayer online ability. Now you will get to enjoy all the Spongy goodness with friends near and far!
