Passing the time with puzzles is a people pleaser that seldom fails. Take the time to delve into a rich environment and explore every nook and cranny for the next clue. Outwit the game itself find the secrets that will lead you to fruition. Etherborn is one puzzle game that really stood out to us with its spectacular art style, and interesting gameplay. With the release just around the corner, we wanted to get the scoop on this impressive indie while there was still scoop to be got.
In Etherborn, you begin the game as a body with no voice. You are guided by a voice with no body. You must follow the voice and solve puzzles to discover the truth of your existence. This simple yet deep plot line is sure to mesh smoothly with the unique play-style of Etherborn. This isn’t your average, every-day puzzle RPG. The game focuses heavily on the manipulation of gravity to explore your environments. As you roam, the gravity shifts with you, giving you the ability to easily discover all facets of each zone that you visit.
Here is an excerpt from the Steam description that describes the gravitational behavior…
“You experience gravity perpendicular to the surface you are standing on, allowing for creative exploration possibilities in environments carefully crafted as navigation-based puzzles.”
What really jumped out to us with Etherborn is the sensational art style and level design. The beautiful yet meticulous levels are sure to be full of wonderful things to discover, while remaining as mind-bending puzzles. Words cannot describe how impressively intricate and interesting each puzzle level appears to be.
