Animal Crossing, Pokemon and Harvest Moon fans are beyond excited about Ooblets. The game is a hybrid between all those three games, and packs a lot of unique features on top of that. Adventuring and growing your own Ooblets are some of those unique features making the game stand out on it’s own.

As the developers of the game stated ” A lot of folks assumed you collect ooblets by growing them instead of
“catching” them after battles like other rpgs “, but in Ooblets you are actually growing your little cute friends. Just like you plant seeds in Harvest Moon you would plant your Ooblet and watch it grow. Seeds can be obtained in various ways, and of course some are more rare than others. The ones you get are typically a surprise, and you will definitely want to collect them all!

But Ooblets offers more than growing your own Ooblets, the game packs a beautiful world that invites you to explore and adventure. The developer states that ” Originally the plan was that you unlock different regions representing different biomes and themes with different Ooblets, trainers, and challenges all through the Badgetown trolley. ” However, in the end they have decide to create a town called Badgetown, this is ultimately your hometown in the game. The region is big, but to make travel easier, and avoid having to travel the same way over and over again, regions are connected by trams. Trams do unlock once you walk up to them. The Ooblets team hopes that this ” will hopefully make the adventuring parts of the game a lot more compelling and give us clearer direction in laying out the maps. ” The Team is currently focusing on refining the farming system further. If you want to hear more about Ooblets checkback for more information, details and exciting reveals coming soon!

The Game is set to be released for PC and Xbox One other platforms like the Nintendo Switch may be considered as well. Would you be interested in seeing this game come to the Nintendo 3DS? or the Nintendo Switch? Let us know!

Nintendo has just published a new trailer showing the new Tennis mode of Mario Sport Superstars. The tennis mode in the game has been popular amongst fans in other games such as Mario Tennis: Ultra smash, it will play and behave the same in Mario Sport Superstars.

The European website of the game has provided the following information, specifying the tennis mode further.

    Tennis

Tennis, anyone? Take to the court and serve up thrilling end-to-end action in this classic racket sport. Expertly chain together lobs, drop shots and more at just the right time to keep your opponents on their toes.

    Mix it up

In tennis, it’s all about timing, positioning and, more crucially, choosing the right shot for the job. Lob opponents who’re adopting a high line, or pepper deep-sitters with some power shots into the far corner, using the Circle Pad to aim. Keep the rally going for a chance to unleash a blazing Ultra Smash and really overwhelm the opposition!

    Simply sublime

Wield your racket like a pro and fend off all-comers to take top spot in the tournaments. Wow the crowd by performing acrobatic jump shots and showy chance shots, or, if you’d prefer, play in Simple mode for a more straightforward tennis experience where your speed, strategy and reactions become even more crucial!

    Double the fun

Just like in the other sports, you can play solo or with others. Up to four can play via Local Play or online. Struggling to get the numbers? You can tap in a Mario Sports Superstars amiibo card (sold separately or as part of a software bundle), and have that character join as your very own Doubles partner, so there’s always someone to play with!

Mario Sport Superstars doesn’t stop here, it features many other sports you can explore. Golf, Soccer, Baseball and horse riding ( featured here ) are all sports you can play in the game. The game will also feature it’s own line of Amiibo cards that can be purchased for $4.99 similar to Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. If you don’t want to buy an Amiibo card pack, rest assured the game will come with 1 free card for a limited time after launch

The game will be released for Nintendo 3ds on March 24th. Watch the trailer bellow to see the Tennis mode in action!
