[dropcap]H[/dropcap]earthstone, for the few who don’t know, is a multiplayer online card game, made by the World of Warcraft developers. The game has had a lot of success since it’s launch in March 2014. The game currently celebrates more than 50 Million players access the multiple platforms the game is currently available on. You can play the game on PC, Mac, iOS and Android. Blizzard, the developer behind the game has now made a public statement on a possible Switch Version of the game. When asked if the game would make an appearance on the Nintendo Switch, Blizzard said “Hearthstone is available on iPads and phones, so it’s a good discussion worth having.”
By no means this is an announcement or a definite answer, but Blizzard seems to be interested in brining the game to as many platforms as possible. Hearthstone was also created using the unity engine, an engine the Nintendo Switch greatly supports, this would make a port of the game to Nintendos new console a lot easier.
