Nintendo Europe spilled the beans on a surprise that was supposed to be held back for this years Christmas season!

In a tweet earlier this morning Nintendo Europe revealed an image that featured the Nintendo eShop Festive Offers with more than 700 games – up to 80% Discount. Shortly after the tweet went live, Nintendo took it back down. Take a look at the image included in the tweet earlier this morning.

When will the sale go live?

The tweet also revealed the starting date for the sale. Apparently the Festive Offers are expected to go live on December 19th, just in time to welcome all the new Nintendo Switch owners who may be getting a generous gift from Santa Claus this year.

Even though the sale was announced by Nintendo Europe, it is safe to assume that people in the US will be getting the same or very similar deal as well. The Nintendo eShop sale will include games on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS.
