The console release of Two-Point Hospital has been delayed until early-to-mid 2020.
The makers of Two-Point Hospital initially estimated that the release of their game on consoles would happen sometime by the end of this year. It turns out that that is no longer going to be the case. It appears that the console release is now being pushed back to the “first half” of 2020.
The reason given for the delay is that they need more time to optimize the game for all platforms. The developers described the process as “take[ing] the game apart and figure out how to fit it into what is essentially a smaller box”. To do this for multiple consoles, it is going to take a bit longer than they had realized.
Two-Point Hospital is still coming to all consoles, just not for a little while longer.
