The Sims 4 is finally getting the long awaited farming expansion.

EA and Maxis finally lifted the curtain on the long awaited and much rumored farming expansion for the The Sims 4. Cottage Living is the next expansion back for the long running life simulation franchise.

This years first expansion pack will add not only the ability to farm crops and turn these around for profit or delicious meals but will also introduce farm animals such as cows and chickens for the very first time. There will be plenty of new recipes to use your fresh harvest on as well.

Country Living will also add an entire new world called Henford-on-Bagley which is essentially a quiet, cozy rural area that you will be able to call your home, living off the land is key in this new addition.

The pack will also add a few new events similar to what you may now from games like Stardew Valley where farming contests will take place. You can bring your eggs, milk and hopefully win a prize!
