The Indie World Showcase sure did have some goodies when it comes to the Nintendo Switch indie community. One of the most exciting pieces of news came at the very end of the presentation. Untitled Goose Game will get an update next month that will add another goose for your friend to play as.
As if terrorizing the town alone wasn’t fun enough, now you can cause mayhem with a buddy. The update will be free to download for all that already own the game. The update also came with a trailer, which you can view below.
For those that missed it, the local co-op isn’t the only news we’ve had from House House recently. The game also just got its very own special physical edition, for everyone who wants to cement this wacky title in their games library forever!
Not only that, but the developers have announced that their game will be coming to Steam and Itch.io on September 23rd, this year.

The most popular goose to ever honk on consoles is getting a most wholesome physical edition of its game for both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The Lovely Edition will come with a hand-drawn map of the town, a vinyl of the soundtrack, a 24 page Spring/Summer Plaza Catalog, a “No goose” sticker, and a physical copy of the game.
The only thing cooler than having a collectors edition of Untitled Goose Game, is having one that is exclusively packaged in 100% post-consumer material available only through iam8bit.com. Both the Switch and PS4 physical copies will be encased in fully eco-friendly packaging.
The Lovely Edition will be the first physical edition of a game that is completely packaged in 100% recyclable material. But don’t take my word from, here is a description from the minds of the brilliant folks working over at iam8bit…
” Adding to that, iam8bit is proud to debut a secret initiative we’ve been working on for the past year: “Eco-Packaging” for physical games. We’re no strangers to engineering unique and crazy packaging, and we’ve spared no expense to prototype dozens of variations of our eco-friendly alternative to plastic game cases… which has led us to this moment. Untitled Goose Game is the perfect title to team up with for the debut of PS4 packaging that we hope leads an entire industry into the future. Consider this our “Early Access Alpha” version of eco-packaging: “

It is likely painfully obvious that MyPotatoGames adores Animal Crossing. Additionally, as a website that provides wholesome video game news, it seemed imperative to create the following article. An article that is a crossover between Animal Crossing: New Horizons and various games which get a thumbs up from MPG.
It is true that we have featured some video game design ID codes in previous articles. However, this crossover article features a huge variety of some seriously cool video game-themed Animal Crossing: New Horizons designs that you can use in the game.
Getting the custom designs app on your NookPhone will allow you to create your own designs and to scan QR codes created by others into your game. However, in regards to clothing with QR codes, you will only be able to place tiles, or wear designs as tank tops. However, you can use Nook Miles to purchase the Pro Design upgrade. The upgrade can be purchased from the Nook Stop terminal at Residents Services for a reasonable 800 Nook Miles.
This will allow you to create different items of clothing as ‘Pro Designs’. There are various types of clothing you can then choose from. Examples include balloon-hem dresses, hoodies, sweaters, coats and more. You can also scan QR codes of Pro Designs from New Leaf.
However, to do this, you need to unlock the Able Sisters clothing shop on your island. In New Horizons, the Able Sisters don’t just sell clothing. The prickly pair have a curious kiosk located at the back of their store. Here, you can save and share designs made in Animal Crossing: New Horizons via Creator ID codes, or Individual Design ID codes.
Providing you have a Switch Online Membership, (and have purchased the Pro Design upgrade), you can use this feature. And despite the game being just a few months old, there are already an astounding number of awesome fanmade designs via the kiosk’s portal. Here are just a few of the best gaming-themed ones:
And as the top potato of MyPotatoGames, Henry naturally had to have his very own t shirt as well 😆🥔

For those that don’t know, the super popular Indie game “Untitled Goose Game” was created in Melbourne, Australia. Melbourne was once inhabited by a large indigenous tribe called the Wurundjeri. Their land was taken from them, and amounts to what is now the great city of Melbourne, which as of 2018 has a population of around 5 million people.
Making amends to generations past has been a part of American culture for some time now. Although, some would say not a big enough part. While it is usually not my way to get involved in these sorts of things, I know it is always wonderful when I see a developer/s using their newly gained wealth to effect positive change in the world.
House House has promised to donate a minimum of 1% of their profits to the Pay The Rent movement, an organization set out to ensure that the descendants of the original inhabitants of the land still receive due pittance for the current occupation of non-indeginous.
After the huge surge of fandom revolving around the maniacal goose, 1% of the profit is sure to be no small number. This is quite a generous gesture, hopefully setting the trend for other successful studios/businesses.
To stay up to date on what’s happening over at House House, you can follow them on Twitter. For more information on Untitled Goose Game, you can see my coverage here, or check out the official website. In a recent Tweet from the developers, it was revealed that Untitled Goose Game has now sold more than one million copies. For those not too familiar with the indie world, that is a pretty darn big deal. But, given the hilariously whimsical nature of the game, and the rate at which it became popular, I can hardly say this comes as a surprise.
In case you have been living under a rock, Untitled Goose Game is a small open world sim game where you get to play as a goose. Your sole mission is to disrupt the natural order of the world around you, for the general purpose of being a nuisance. The gameplay is as fun as the game itself is hilarious.
For more information about Untitled Goose Game, you can check out their official website. To stay up to date with what’s happening with the game and developers, you can follow House House on Twitter. It was announced last week that Untitled Goose Game was coming to the PS4 and Xbox One on December 17th, 2019. Well now that day has come and with it, a new free Dynamic Theme created by Truant Pixel (in collaboration with House House and Panic) on The PlayStation Store here.
This hilarious new theme for the PS4 features the horrible goose on top of a large pile of stolen objects stacked in a pond. It also comes with some background sound effects and some honking text! Every now and again when you look up to see what that mischievous goose is up to, you can find it with things in its mouth such as keys, a fork, a rose, etc. It will also run across your screen so keep an eye on that foul fowl!
Of course, this makes me extremely jealous of the PS4 as I played my copy on the Nintendo Switch. Who wouldn’t want to be greeted by this marvelous display of shenanigans every time they turn their console on? I’d love for the Nintendo Switch to have avatars, dynamic themes, or other such free content for my home screen! For now, I’m still going to download this theme for my PS4.
I’m also still lamenting the fact that I can’t have Untitled Beaker Game. We can, however, have the best socks money can buy from the official website of Untitled Goose Game which you can check out here as a great gift for the holidays!

PlayStation’s State of Play just finished live-streaming today (December 10th, 2019) and if you missed it, you can check out the 20 minutes video below. Some exciting release dates were given, announcements of games coming to the PS4 were made, and one interesting new VR game has caught my attention.
State of Play kicks off with Untitled Goose Game. It has already been released on the Epic Games Store and I’ve had a chance to play it on the Nintendo Switch and really enjoy it. Now this hilarious stealth game is coming to the PS4 on December 17th, 2019! The more platforms the better!
Another one of my favorite surprises was that of a release date for Dreams. Dreams, by Media Molecule, allows you to basically create your own game for yourself and others to enjoy, and has been in Early Access for quite some time now. However, look forward to exploring worlds of limitless imagination on February 14th, 2020.
A couple of other wholesome game mentions where that of Superliminal, a puzzle game inspired by forced perspective, which is not only available now on the Epics Game Store, but will be available on the PS4 sometime in 2020. We also have a date for Kingdom Hearts III’s DLC, Re-Mind, which is January 20th, 2020. This new DLC will feature new playable characters like Kairi! You can play a free demo of Kingdom Hearts III if you haven’t played it already, with more information on that here.
