Continuing with IGN Expo 2022, a new and exclusive trailer has been released for Super Zoo Story, a Stardew Valley meets Zoo Tycoon sim. Build and manage your own personal zoo by constructing your park and caring for your animals.
Super Zoo Story has over 70 different animal types which include exotic animals and dinos, all with different requirements to their enclosures. Combining DNA of animals with dinosaur species will create different colours and patterns! However, you’ll have to go exploring to find those fossils!
Keeping the townspeople happy is just as important as keeping your zoo animals happy. The island will have over 40 different characters. Not only can you befriend them, but you can even start a family with them!
The developer of Super Zoo Story recently shared an update that will add elephants and mammoths to the game.
For those that may have missed it, Super Zoo Story is a super cute business builder/ life sim that lets you create your very own massive zoo. Fill your humble wildlife enclosure with a wonderful array of creatures, spanning throughout the planets existence. You will also find many features form the life sim genre that help this game round out to perfection; like crafting, building, mining and just general exploration of an open world.
Well, in a recent Tweet, the developers have revealed that they are now adding elephants and mammoths to the game. Great news for all you bigger critter lovers. The devs also shared a little gif showing off the biome in which the new animals will live. A prehistoric scene loaded with charm, and with some graphics reminiscent of a certain massively famous farming games (as the devs claim taking much inspiration from Stardew).
As you can see, the developers have also requested to know what animals the fans would like to see in the game. Some recommendations have had the devs revealing some animals that we can expect, like the adorable capybara, and maybe even a kangaroo or two.
