Developer Concerned Ape has surprised his followers once again, now adding split screen co-op to the 1.5 update.
After announcing that there will be beds in the upcoming update for Stardew Valley, ConcernedApe has had the community all abuzz. Not to mention the adorable Halloween version of the collectors edition. Now, he drops a huge bomb on us. Update 1.5 will be bringing split-screen co-op mode to the insanely popular farming game.
ConcernedApe recently made this announcement via Twitter. He also goes on to mention that the number of players allowed on split screen will vary, depending on console. On PC, players will be able to play with up to four others, while those on certain consoles may be limited to only two.
A true hero.
After already adding so much free stuff, it is absolutely astonishing to see just how much more content is on the way with the 1.5. update. Stardew Valley certainly appears to be a game that will continue growing and changing throughout the years, all without ever charging players an extra cent!
The new update for Stardew Valley will change everything…about your thoughts on moving beds.
The latest Tweet from Concerned Ape about update 1.5 has absolutely stunned the entire community. With a revolutionary stunt, Concerned Ape has now taken gaming into the next generation as he implements the ability to move your bed in the game.
What exactly does he mean by “move your bed”? Will we be able to rotate it? Flip it? Will it levitate? Will it become a new form of travel? Or does this just mean we will now have the ability to drastically effect the emotions of the bed? Only time will tell.
And what’s more, what sort of implications could this have on the rest of the game. Will the creatures in the mine be brave enough to approach after you’ve performed such a feat? Will your crops grow twice as strong knowing they have such a capable horticulturalist at the helm? I can only speculate, but this certainly very exciting stuff!
The developer of Stardew Valley recently announced that the new update is coming along nicely.
Stardew Valley is one of the most iconic farming/life sim games currently on the market. And the developer, who goes by Concerned Ape, is still updating the game and adding content, all without charging a dime for the DLC. Well, the latest update is on the way and the developer has confirmed that real progress is bieng made.
The 1.4 update brought all kinds of new goodies to check out; from powerful new items to an array of new customization pieces. Even some new music was added to the game to ensure that unique and personal feeling that this game gives stays around for endless more hours.
Stardew Valley Update 1.5
In a recent Tweet, Concerned Ape announced the the new update is still well in the works, but much progress is being made. The developer even teases that the update will hold “a significant new piece of end-game content”! Very exciting stuff. I will be sure to post the contents of the update as soon as we know more.
Bananas might be coming to Stardew Valley!
In addition to major new enhancements to the game, Eric might also consider adding a new fruit to the farming simulator. In a recent poll that ConcernedApe held on his Twitter account he asked fans to vote for their favorite fruit. In the end it turned out that Bananas won with a lead over the other options. It will be interesting to see if we get a new fruit and hopefully some new recipes along with it!
It is likely painfully obvious that MyPotatoGames adores Animal Crossing. Additionally, as a website that provides wholesome video game news, it seemed imperative to create the following article. An article that is a crossover between Animal Crossing: New Horizons and various games which get a thumbs up from MPG.
It is true that we have featured some video game design ID codes in previous articles. However, this crossover article features a huge variety of some seriously cool video game-themed Animal Crossing: New Horizons designs that you can use in the game.
How To Obtain Custom Designs Using ID Codes
Getting the custom designs app on your NookPhone will allow you to create your own designs and to scan QR codes created by others into your game. However, in regards to clothing with QR codes, you will only be able to place tiles, or wear designs as tank tops. However, you can use Nook Miles to purchase the Pro Design upgrade. The upgrade can be purchased from the Nook Stop terminal at Residents Services for a reasonable 800 Nook Miles.
This will allow you to create different items of clothing as ‘Pro Designs’. There are various types of clothing you can then choose from. Examples include balloon-hem dresses, hoodies, sweaters, coats and more. You can also scan QR codes of Pro Designs from New Leaf.
Providing you have a Switch Online Membership, (and have purchased the Pro Design upgrade), you can use this feature. And despite the game being just a few months old, there are already an astounding number of awesome fanmade designs via the kiosk’s portal. Here are just a few of the best gaming-themed ones:
Indie Video Game Design Codes:
Mario Video Game Design Codes:
Zelda Video Game Design Codes:
Pokémon Video Game Design Codes:
Animal Crossing Video Game Design Codes:
Other Video Game Design Codes:
And as the top potato of MyPotatoGames, Henry naturally had to have his very own t shirt as well 😆🥔

Stardew Valley has clearly become one of the most popular Farming and Life simulation games since Harvest Moon. Serin Fate takes a fun new spin on the popular genre and even adds some Fantasy Life to it.
In Serin Fate you play as a Witch and therefore you are in possession of some magical powers. As you begin playing the game you will start learning new spells that can help you on your journey.
The small development team behind the game states that inspiration was taken from games such as “Pokemon, Harvest Moon, Runescape, and Chrono Trigger.”
Farm, Craft and Explore!
Serin Fate offers a wide variety of tasks that remind me a lot of Fantasy Life that also offers a wide variety of things to do. In this game however, you can freely choose where you’d like to dedicate your focus and time towards to. Feel like crafting some new armor to protect yourself on your next adventure? or maybe instead build some furniture to restore your hut? The choice is always yours.
Enjoy some zen time
If you don’t feel like going on an adventure to try out your latest crafted items, you can also choose to sit back, relax and do some gardening work. Much like Harvest Moon, Serin Fate offers a huge variety of tasks that we come to love from games like Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley and even Story of Seasons.
Explore the atmospheric world, collect materials by cutting down some trees or uncover some hidden gems spread throughout the world. Of course you can also cast your fishing rod in hopes to catch some of the many fish out there.
The options are endless which make Serin Fate a wonderful game on its own. It doesn’t try to be another game that already exists but only takes inspiration to create some very unique on its own.
Serin Fate is Available in Pre-Alpha Now!
Serin Fate is already available on Steam if you want to get your hands on this game today, you can! And yes, the developers are working towards a Mac and Nintendo Switch release as well.
Stardew Valley is celebrating it’s 4 year anniversary and with it ConcernedApe announced another free content update is in the works!
The latest huge and free 1.4 content update was the end of Stardew Valley expansion was not the last update the game has seen, even four years after release.
Stardew Valley 1.5 Content Update Will be Free!
Unlike other companies who often choose to charge for DLC’s, ConcernedApe thanked fans for the four year support with a heartfelt message and announced at the same time that a new content update is currently in the works.
Currently titled update 1.5 will focus on adding even more to the game and the best is yet to come – it will be another free update for everyone!
If the latest patch was any indication it is safe to assume that the next update will also make it to all supported platform – PC, consoles and even mobile!
Happy Birthday Stardew Valley and many thanks to ConcernedApe for making such a wonderful game that formed such a wholesome community!
