The developers of Planet Coaster: Console Edition have released a new gameplay trailer.

Do you love tycoon games? Would you like spending countless hours on making a perfect theme park all to enjoy. Would you like to build that theme park using a console instead of a PC? Then Planet Coaster: Console Edition just might be the perfect game for you.

    A bit about Planet Coaster

    Planet Coaster: Console Edition

Planet Coaster released for PC back in November of 2016, and has gotten astounding reviews from tycoon lovers of all ages. Be the manager of your very on theme park. Add all kinds of wild rides, excellent food vendors, and just the right amenities to make your park the best around.

Now, the game will finally be released on a few of the current and future major platforms; Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.

    Planet Coaster: Console Edition

The new trailer gives a bit of a sneak peak at what the console version of the game will look like. No doubt, there will be some differences in functionality, as well as maybe some missing items and features, but that is to be expected when a major title moves from PC to console. I’m sure that we can still expect one heck an amazing game from Planet Coaster: Console Edition.

The developers recently Tweeted the following video, along with a reminder that the game releases this holiday season!

During Microsoft’s X019, I caught the live show of Inside Xbox which revealed world premieres and gameplay footage for titles coming next year (2020) for Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass. You can watch the full stream below and check out my highlights for the most ‘potatoey’ games that I can’t wait to get my hands on!

Microsoft also announced their Black Friday sales which include discounts of 20%-70% off such as: $150 off Xbox One consoles, three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for just $1 and up to 50% off Xbox Game Studios titles! Furthermore, Project xCloud is coming to PCs sometime in 2020 and more than 50+ Xbox game titles are available in the Preview library.

    My X019 Potato List

    • Everwild: a new IP by Rare that will “give you memorable, engaging, and meaningful experiences for players everywhere to share.” There is no release date as of now.
    • Grounded: a cooperative survival game by Obsidian coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC and console this Spring 2020. Play in first-person view as the size of an ant (Honey, I Shrunk the Kids style).
    • Kart Rider Drift: an adorable racing game full of customization options. Sign-up now for the Closed Beta available on PC and Xbox One from December 5th to 8th.
    • Planet Coaster Console Edition: the theme park management game by Frontier Developments (Planet Zoo) is finally coming to Xbox One (and probably other consoles) this Summer 2020.
    • Tell Me Why: another intense narrative game by the Life is Strange studio DONTNOD. It’s a game about twins Tyler and Alyson coming this Summer 2020.
    • The Artful Escape: by Annapurna Interactive where you play as Francis (also looks like Harry Potter), a teenage guitar prodigy, and set out on a psychedelic, multidimensional journey to inspire your stage persona. Coming to Xbox and Apple Arcade in 2020.
    • Drake Hollow: from The Molasses Flood, comes a game that seems to be about befriending plant-creatures and having them help you build items and structures. There’s also a battle element that shows some multiplayer aspects. It will be coming to Xbox Game Pass but we have no release date yet.

Stick around all weekend long for more news at X019 from London, England! Hopefully we can catch glimpses of games on the show floor! Also, I want to hear which game you are most excited about.
