Overcooked and Overcooked 2 have been combined and upgraded for an all new experience in Overcooked! All You Can Eat.

That’s right! An all new Overcooked! experience is on its way to the new upcoming consoles. All You Can Eat is a combination of the first two Overcooked games, but with all DLC included, a 4K visual upgrade, and all sorts of other new goodies (levels, chefs, recipes) to make this the best Overcooked experience yet.

    Overcooked 2

Not only that, but Overcooked will finally be going online. The one key thing that this insane party game has been missing is finally being added. Now you can enjoy the frantic kitchen madness with your friends, without having to be in the same room with them. The multiplayer will also be cross platform, that way you can still play with your friends on Xbox if you go with PlayStation, and visa versa.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like this game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch (considering 4k). But it will release on both the PlayStation 5 as well as the Xbox Series X, so no matter which you choose on that front, you will still have Overcooked on your plate!

    New Modes

Another great addition to the series is that all new assist mode. This will make things easier for those that tend to find themselves overwhelmed by the intensity that can be found in these hectic games. The new mode will allow you to slow the recipe timeout, skip levels, and change how long you have to complete each level.

With all these new additions and changes, it’s almost like we are getting an all new Overcooked game with All You Can Eat! There is still no release date, other than coming soon. But since we are still waiting for the next generation consoles on which the game will release, I’m assuming not that soon.

    Features List

    • Over 200 levels of culinary chaos
    • Seven new levels
    • Three new chefs
    • 60 FPS gameplay in stunning 4K resolution
    • Faster loading times
    • Brand new trophies and achievements

Overcooked 2 is getting a new DLC pack for this summer called Sun’s Out Buns Out.

Overcooked 2 is, by far, one of my favorite cooking games on the market. Half party game, half cooking game, and lots of whacky antics throughout. Now, it looks like Overcooked is going to get even crazier. The new DLC pack, Sun’s Out Buns Out, is coming soon to Nintendo Switch, and will add lots of new goodies to the game.

What to expect in the new DLC.

The Sun’s Out Buns Out pack will be totally parade themed, so get ready to party, street style. This content extra will bring a bit of everything you might want in a summer style DLC. First, play the part of one of two new cool doggo chefs. As you might expect from a parade theme, you will also get to run around some new kitchens that are located…on top of parade floats!

    Sun's Out Buns Out

Obviously, this cooking game DLC would not be complete without a few new recipes to whip up. Enjoy a tasty ice cream float (of course) or a nice summer salad. And of course, since this is a crazy competitive party game, there will also be some new parade style hazards to be careful of, like fireworks and confetti.

So maybe there won’t be any real life parades to check out this year (for obvious reasons), but you can still get your parade fix with Overcooked 2’s new Sun’s Out Buns Out DLC.

    Sun’s Out Buns Out Trailer

This new pack of goodies will release on Steam on July 5th, and will release for all consoles soon thereafter. For more information about Sun’s Out Buns Out, check out Team17’s official page for the game.

Overcooked 2 is still one of my favorite co-op games out there and every time Ghost Town Games and Team17 announce new content for it, I’m super excited! As of today, December 17th, 2019, you can play new DLC, Winter Wonderland, on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, for the total of $0! From the trailer below, you can see that these new kitchens are inspired by the most recent Season Pass that includes Campfire Cook Off, Night of the Hangry Horde and Carnival of Chaos!

Moreover, with these 5 new festive kitchens, you can cook s’mores by the campfire, feed the Horde which are now holiday cookies and candy canes, and use those awesome new cannons from the carnival levels! If you haven’t already purchased the Season Pass, this is a great free way to test the features! Furthermore, look forward to 5 new seasonal recipes, hot chocolate, pancakes, roast dinners, Christmas puddings and mince pies! You can also play as 2 new chefs; Reindeer Chef or Present Head Chef!

The independent game community is quite a strong one, and has produced many games available for Switch!

Maybe the best thing about an indie game is that you know whoever made it really cared about what they were making. A true passion for one’s work tends to show in the final product. This much cannot always be said for some of the bigger games out there, that take many people to create. Many times, indies are even made by a single person with a drive to share a part of themselves with the world.

If you also happen to always be on the lookout for a good indie game that you can play on the Nintendo Switch, here is a list of the ones that I personally like and are available now. I like to keep track of the news on upcoming indies, like Calico and Mineko’s Night Market, as you know. But knowing about games coming soon is never as fun as finding out about some hidden treasures you may not know about that you can play immediately.

    Baba Is You

Baba Is You is cute little puzzle game that uses word combinations to solve puzzles and proceed through the world. In the game, you will use your character to move different parts of sentences to change the world around you. You can sometimes even change the goal you have to achieve simply by moving the right words to the right place. The game has a very simple yet cute feel, and costs only $15.00 through the Nintendo eShop.

    Untitled Goose Game

With the exploding popularity of this title, it might come as a surprise to some that Untitled Goose Game is actually an independently made game. Developed by House House and published by Panic, Goose Game hit huge with the gaming community for its whimsical and hilarious theme. Take on the role of goose that is determined to break the world to pieces with simple shenanigans. You can try out this indie hit for yourself now for just $19.99 through the Nintendo eShop.

    Kine

Kine is a 3D narrative puzzle game about three daring machines that aspire to be musicians. Embark across a theatrical dreamscape by solving a wide variety of increasingly difficult 3D puzzles. Guide Euler, Quat, and Roo as they struggle to form a band and find their big break! Kine is developed by Gwen Frey, published by Chump Squad, and is available for only $19.99.

    Overcooked 2

The Overcooked games are pretty well known at this point. Dash around the hectic kitchens to prepare all manner of insane and intricate dishes. Play solo or with friends in an attempt to not be overcome by demand, and “overcook” all of your dishes. Overcooked 2 is currently available on the Nintendo Switch and costs $24.99. A bit more pricey than the rest of the Indies, but rest assured that much TLC has gone into making this game as fun and whacky as possible.

One of the greatest multiplayer cooking simulation games, Overcooked 2, probably needs no introduction. The developers Ghost Town Games and the publishers at Team17 have revealed the 3rd and final DLC of their Season Pass. Each DLC can be purchased separately but the DLC so far included in The Season Pass are priced at £14.99/€16.99/$19.99 and include Night of the Hangry Horde and Campfire Cook Off. Now that pack also includes Carnival of Chaos which will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4 and Xbox One on September 12th, 2019!

As per usual, this DLC will include new chefs, new kitchens, and new recipes! This time the theme is that of a literal and figurative circus which includes carnival foods such as hot-dogs, doughnuts, and maybe popcorn. In the reveal trailer we see a strong-man and jugglers, as well as one of the players blasting out of a cannon! This game will probably have us all breathing fire! Get it, fire-eaters? We here at myPotatoGames are also loving the adorable pupper Kevin in the corner hanging out with a balloon animal.
