The Game Awards by Geoff Keighley, the host and producer of the annual awards show, is happening again this December 12th, 2019! If it’s anything like Opening Night Live (happening again August 2020 in Germany), we’re in for a real treat! You can purchase tickets now to attend at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and see special live performances for TGA’s 5th anniversary! Furthermore, we’ll not only be celebrating the best video games of 2019, but also be seeing exclusive world premieres and new game announcements! Geoff Keighley has just announced via live-stream the nominees for the 29 categories, which you can vote on now right here! The nominees include some of my favorite Nintendo Switch games this year such as Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Untitled Goose Game, which is really exciting. The Game of the Year nominees for The Game Awards are: Control, Death Stranding, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Resident Evil 2, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, The Outer Worlds.
